Supercell nerfs Druid in Clash of Clans in the upcoming update

Supercell has announced significant balance changes to the Druid in Clash of Clans. These changes will be applied either before the Clan War Leagues (CWL) begins or in the early stage of this event. Players must adapt their strategies as Druid will likely not work in the earlier manner. Furthermore, these nerfs are applied to the human and beast form of this unit to decrease its overall impact in raids.

Previously, Druid was deployed alongside Barbarian King or the other three Heroes to provide them with necessary healing while they destroyed the defenses. However, the upcoming nerf will decrease the rate of healing up to 45%, massively decreasing the health boost of the Heroes.

Furthermore, Druid will only provide healing for 25 seconds instead of 30 across all four upgrade levels. This will significantly decrease the King's survival in raids, providing an opportunity for other troops to excel.

Meanwhile, the Bear form of this unit will receive a 50% reduction in its HP across all four upgrade levels. This will allow the existing defenses to snipe him out quickly without taking much damage.

Supercell revealed in their latest blog that they are nerfing Druid based on the community's feedback, which was mostly against its overpowered nature. The mass Druid attack will likely not have a significant effect due to the massive reduction of the unit's healing per second (HPS).

With these changes, players will need to reconsider their reliance on Druid-heavy strategies. They can use other Healers or innovate new methods to minimize the importance of these units in their army.
