Q) You have achieved the title of CODM World Champion once already. What preparations or mindset shifts are you focusing on to maintain that winning edge and get the title again?
Tectonic: The preparation and mindset have always been the same for me. If you want to be the best, then practice like this is a grand finals match or your final one. If you have to shift your work ethic or mindset you never deserved to win in the first place.
Q) Being one of the latest additions to Team Vitality, how has the journey been so far, and what challenges have you faced finding the right team synergy?
Mxrvel: Being part of Team Vitality just feels great. It’s like a dream come true for a French to be part of this organization. Q) In your view, how important are international competitions like the CODM World Championship 2024 for showcasing Indian talent and building a competitive scene?
JOKOs: The competition outside India is really high and teams from China and the Garena region are very experienced when it comes to LAN tournaments. Playing scrims and tournaments against them is one of the main reasons our region is improving rapidly. We are happy that competitions like the CODM World Championship 2024 and platforms like DreamHack Atlanta are providing Indian gamers to showcase their skills on the international stage.
Q) What strategies or training routines have you implemented in your preparation for the upcoming tournament?
SAMs: For this World Championship we are putting more time into watching our gameplay with our coach, which helps us learn from the mistakes we made. I also do a lot of 1v1s with my teammates to improve my shooting skills.
