Reverse 1999 2.2 update release date, maintenance schedule, and bug fixes

Bluepoch has announced the new Reverse 1999 2.2 update, titled Tristes Tropiques. It will be released globally on January 9, 2025. The developers will conduct a closed server maintenance to roll out the new patch. They will introduce new content, fix bugs, add new items to the shop, and more. Timekeepers can download the latest version from their respective app stores after the update goes live.

Maintenance schedule and more for the Reverse 1999 2.2 update

Bluepoch will start the server maintenance on January 9, from 05:00 to 10:00 UTC-5 to roll out the Reverse 1999 2.2 update. Timekeepers won’t be able to log in to the app during these five hours. The developers will distribute Clear Drop ✕ 300, Jar of Picrasma Candy (limited) ✕ 2 as maintenance compensation. Additionally, Bluepoch will send Clear Drop ✕ 180 to all players' in-game mailboxes as compensation for bug fixing.

Timekeepers who created the account before the version update will receive the aforementioned compensations. The compensation rewards will be valid till the end of version 2.2.

What to expect in Reverse 1999 2.2 update?

Timekeepers can play a new main story chapter 8, Tristes Tropiques, in Reverse 1999 2.2 update. Bluepoch will also add a true limited character, 6-star Anjo Nala. Three more characters will debut in version 2.2: 6-star Lopera, 5-star Mr. Duncan, and a free 4-star White Rum.

The version 2.2 update will also bring new Psychubes: 6-star Transcendent Love, 6-star The Third Commitment, 5-star Falling for a Sweet Phenomenon, and 5-star The Severed and the Rest. Timekeepers will also get the Collector’s Edition of the Carnival Album Roar Jukebox for free.

Players will get an unowned 6-star character released up to version 1.9 and a 5-star character for free. Timekeepers can also get over 10 pulls and 500 Clear Drops for free. Bluepoch will also introduce two new game modes in the Reverse 1999 2.2 update: White Rum’s Travelogue and Ms. NewBabel’s Critter Rehabilitation Center.

• Added a feature to select a focus target during auto-combat.
• Introduced a Spellbox feature in battles to view remaining incantations for characters on the field.
