Reverse 1999 Version 2.0 update: New banners, events, garments, and more

Bluepoch will drop a new Reverse 1999 Version 2.0 update on October 31, 2024. It includes a main event: Floor it to the Golden City, new banners, Arcanists, garments, and many sub-events. Timekeepers can also obtain free Unilogs, Clear Drops, Picrasma Candy, and Growth Materials through various events. The developers will also introduce a new Roar Jukebox, Anecdotes, Mane’s Bulletin, Resonance update, and more.

Reverse 1999 Version 2.0 update: New banners

Here is the list of the new banners and featured characters in the Reverse 1999 Version 2.0 update:

Calming Hues in Frenzied Nights

This banner will be available from October 31 to November 21, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. It features a new 6-star Arcanist, Mercuria of Spirit Afflatus, alongside existing 5-star Charlie of Star Afflatus and Click of Spirit Afflatus.

Players can summon them at a boosted drop rate and obtain a 5-star or a higher rarity character within their first 10 pulls. Bluepoch will add Mercuria to the permanent character banner after the 2.3 update.

Clash ‘n’ Slash

This banner will be available from November 21 to December 5, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. It features a new 6-star Arcanist, J, alongside the existing 5-star Tennant and Desert Flannel of Beast Afflatus.

Players can summon them at a boosted drop rate and obtain a 5-star or a higher rarity character within their first 10 pulls. Bluepoch will add J to the permanent character banner after the 2.3 update.

Yearning of the Water

The new iteration of the Yearning of the Water banner will be available from November 1 to November 14, 2024, at 23:59 UTC-5. Players can summon 6-star Isolde of Spirit Afflatus and 6 of Intelligence Afflatus at a boosted drop rate. They can do their first three packs of 10 summons at a discounted rate of eight Unilogs.

Here are the details of new events in the Reverse 1999 Version 2.0 update:

Main story event: Floor it to the Golden City

The main event in Reverse 1999 Version 2.0 update is called Floor It to the Golden City. The event’s story mode will be available from October 31 to December 2, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. Its Hard mode will be available from November 7 to December 2, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5.

Players must complete the In Our Time main story to participate in the event. They can get Clear Drops and Spiritual Crystal Clusters by clearing the stages in the main event. One can also obtain the Spiritual Crystal Cluster by completing tasks in the Disco Calendar. It will be available from October 31 to December 2, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5.

Timekeepers can exchange Spiritual Crystal Cluster at the event shop, Convergence of Pneuma. It will be available from October 31 to December 5, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5 in the Reverse 1999 Version 2.0 update. The main rewards in the shop include a new 6-star Reverse 1999 Psychube: Starlight Wellspring, Gluttony, Unilog, Crystal Casket, and more.

Timekeepers can also participate in the sub-event, Alleyway Graffiti, which will be available from October 31 to December 2, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. One must clear Chapter FT.22 (Unanswered Door) to participate in Alleyway Graffiti. Clearing challenges or playing the story in this event grants 3-star Arcanist, Pioneer, and Tang’s Restaurant event building as rewards.

Players must complete the In Our Time main story to participate in the event. It rewards Clear Drops and Growth Materials.
• The San Francisco Kids: It is J’s character story, which will be available from November 21 to December 5, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. Players must complete the In Our Time main story to play this event. The event rewards Clear Drops and Growth Materials.
• New Anecdotes: Timekeepers can play Sotheby’s Anecdote, The Lady’s Etiquette. It will be available from November 4 to November 18, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. • Discoveries & Adventures: It is Reverse 1999’s official collaboration with Discovery. This event will be available from November 14 to December 12, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. It rewards event-limited buildings: Monoliths of Miracle and Temple of Radiance, and Jar of Picrasma Candy (time-limited) to players who sign in for three days during the event.
• The Night Beckons: This event will be available from October 31 to November 3, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. During the event period, players can log in to the app and obtain Clear Drops and Growth Materials via their in-game mailboxes.
• Mane’s Bulletin: Players can challenge the new raid boss, Bellows of the Earth, in the new iteration of Mane’s Bulletin. It will be available from November 7 to December 5, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. They can obtain Gluttony, Greed, Polarization, Resonance Materials, and Insight Materials from Mane’s Bulletin.
• Midnight Mayhem (UTTU Spotlight): It is the new iteration of UTTU Spotlight, which will be available from November 21, 2024. Phase reward update for A Series of Dusks game mode

Bluepoch has updated the reward for Phase IV and V of A Series of Dusks game mode. Players will be able to obtain additional in-game items from these phases. The Phase IV reward update will be available after November 11, 2024, at 05:00 UTC-5. Similarly, the Phase V reward will be available after December 1, 2024, at 05:00 UTC-5. Here are the details:

• Phase IV: Artifice of Lorelei ✕ 2 and Advanced Insight Materials
• Phase V: New 6-star Psychube: From the Depths, Artifice of Lorelei ✕ 1, and Advanced Insight Materials

One must complete the main story, Nouvelles et Textes pour Rien, and claim the previous phase’s rewards to unlock the Phase IV and Phase V rewards.

Resonance update

Bluepoch will make new Resonance patterns available in the Reverse 1999 Version 2.0 update. Timekeepers can create new patterns for those characters whose Resonance reaches Level 10. Each character will have multiple Resonance frequencies after the new update.

The developers will also send 10 ✕ Exquisite Insight Casket to the Timekeeper’s mail to provide a better experience of this new feature.

New Roar Jukebox: Electronic Blitz

Belupoch will introduce a new Roar Jukebox, Electronic Blitz, in the Reverse 1999 Version 2.0 update. It will be available from October 31 to December 2, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. Players can get Reverse 1999 Kanjira’s limited garment, The Night’s Visitor, upon purchasing the Collector’s Edition.

They can unlock Deluxe Edition to level up the Decibel level by 10 and obtain a limited portrait, Sonorous Knell ✕ 5, Clear Drops, and Jar of Picrasma Candy. Since the duration of Electronic Blitz is shorter than Roar Jukebox's previous iterations, Bluepoch will distribute Roar Decibel ✕ 10,000 as compensation.
