Ruffs in Squad Busters: Stats, abilities, and how to use

Ruffs in Squad Busters is the latest Epic Troop, released in the Spooky Squad update. He is a ranged Attacker, who uses his pistol to fire projectiles. Ruffs' abilities are centered around fusing troops and providing them with boosts. Additionally, his Super ability guarantees a Lucky Find after opening six chests.

Currently, Ruffs can be unlocked from the ongoing Spooky World event. Afterward, he will be unlockable from the Spooky World, the last world in Squad Busters, placed at tier 150 of Squad Journey.

Stats

In Squad Busters, troops' stats do not change throughout the game. Therefore, the stats of Ruffs in Squad Busters are given below:

Health: 1700
Damage Per Second: 235
Fusion Health: 5100
Fusion DPS: 470

Abilities

In Squad Buster, troops get new abilities with each evolution. Ruff unlocks the following abilities and forms:

Baby: One member of the squad upgrades to a fusion.
Classic: Increases the health of fused troops.
Super: A Lucky Find is guaranteed after opening 6x chests.
Ultimate: Damage per second of fused characters is increased.

How to use Ruffs (strategies)

Although Ruffs is an Attacker, he can provide various buffs to the squad. His Baby ability to upgrade a troop to Fusion makes him a good pair for all team compositions. However, he can utilize the attack speed boost provided by the Archer Queen.

If Ruffs fuses a Trader in the early game, it can help the player generate numerous gems and get ahead of the opponents in the battle.

In the current Spooky World event, Greg and Mavis can use the fusion ability to farm Pumpkin Tokens faster. However, since the ability upgrades a random troop, he may promote an extra Mavis or Greg, which will be wasteful.

Ruffs in Squad Busters can be a good asset in the Epic Overload and 1-Coin Chest Battle Mods, as these allow players to open more chests and get prestigious characters faster.

Additionally, if Ruffs is picked from the second Character Chest, he will always fuse the first troop, who was already in the squad.
