Solo Leveling Arise players can challenge Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light’s upper floors. He is the latest addition to the Workshop of Brilliant Light game mode that came with the October 10, 2024 update. This roguelike raid dungeon is the toughest content game mode and hosts the meanest bosses in the title. Players can farm Core, Artifact Enhancement Chips, Powder of Blessings, and more in-game items from this game mode.

Best Solo Leveling Arise hunters for Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light

Baran is weak against Dark and Wind elements, so the following list includes the best hunters from each. Here are the best hunters to use against Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light:

1) Amamiya Mirei (DPS)

Amamiya Mirei is a Wind-type hunter who works excellently against Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light. She is one of the best DPS options and can remove debuffs from all team members with her Ultimate Skill. Her Ultimate's ability to reset and decrease the cooldown of her Basic Skills will also help greatly in this fight. Additionally, her survivability is prolonged with the Super Armor effect she gains with her Ultimate.

Her Basic Skills’ damage also increases by 30% with Kuroha’s Darkness effect from her Passive. Upgrading her Passive to Advancement Tier 3 (A3) will be advantageous. Players can equip her with Expert and Burning Curse Solo leveling Arise artifacts to face Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light.


2) Charlotte (DPS)

Charlotte is also a Dark-type character that can help you defeat Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light. Her Ultimate Skill, Take This!, is her greatest strength, dealing massive damage equal to 3803% of her defense. Players need not wait for her Power Gauge to charge to unlock her Ultimate Skill; using the Basic Attack Tier 3 twice will do the job (cooldown 40 seconds).

Players can spam Charlotte's Ultimate Skill to deal massive damage to Baran. Upgrading her to Advancement Tier 1 will allow her to use Ultimate Skill often; it reduces the cooldown condition of unlocking her Ultimate by 20 seconds. Players can equip her with a Burning Set artifact (8-set) to fight against Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light.


3) Woo Jinchul (Sub-DPS)

Woo Jinchul is a Wind-type hunter, which makes him deal additional damage to Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light. Players can equip him with a Burning Greed (8-set) artifact. He can deal Break damage, apply the Stun effect, provide the Super Armor to team members, and increase Wind damage with his skills. These abilities make him one of the best choices for the Sub-DPS role against Baran.

Pairing him with Amamiya Mirei will increase the team’s survivability and damage output. Amamiya can remove debuffs the team receives, Woo Jinchul can deplete the Break Gauge, and their Super Armor can prolong the team’s survivability.

Harper is the best Sub-DPS for the Dark team against Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light. Her Basic Skill, The Tenderizer!, deals almighty Break damage, the highest form of Break damage. Additionally, this skill can increase the Ultimate Skill damage of Dark hunters, making her synergize excellently with Charlotte. She can also buff her damage with London Drift and critical hit rate and damage with Super Magic Boost from her Passive.

Upgrading her to Advancement Tier 1 will generate a shield while using the Tenderizer!, increasing her durability. Players can equip Charlotte with the Burning Greed artifact set to prepare her for Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light.


5) Han Se-Mi (Support)

Han Se-Mi is the best healer for the Wind team against Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light. She can restore the entire team's HP with her Basic Skill, Sharp Sprouts. Her Ultimate Skill, Vines of Vitality, can increase the durability of her team by decreasing their damage taken by 20%. Vines of Vitality can also restore 1% HP to all team members every second for 15 seconds.

Additionally, she can help recover the Mana Points of all team members and grant them Shield once every three seconds with her Basic Skill, Golden Meadow. Han Se-Mi can also increase the Basic Skill damage of her Wind-type characters, making her a valuable ally for Amamiya Mirei. Upgrading her to the Advancement tier 1 is highly recommended before fighting against Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light. Players can equip her with a Burning Blessing (8-set) artifact to prepare her for this fight.


6) Lee Bora (Support)

Lee Bora is an excellent supporter of the Dark-type team. She can remove Debuffs and increase her team members’ Dark elemental damage with her Basic Skill, Strengthening Charm. Her Basic Skill can summon Phantom Foxes, which can deal damage even when Lee is not on the battlefield. Lee can also debuff Baran with Charm from her Passive, increasing the boss’s damage taken by 15%.

Upgrading her to Advancement Tier 3 will be beneficial against Baran. At A1, she can summon three Phantom Foxes with increased damage. At A3, she can use the Strengthening Charm skill, which summons Phantom Foxes, up to two times before it cools down. Players can equip her with Burning Blessing (8-set) or Burning Curse (4-set) with Expert (4-set) against Baran in Workshop of Brilliant Light.
