The Solo Leveling Arise December 19, 2024, update released the Gold-tailed Fox. The SSR rarity weapon, which is exclusive to Sung Jinwoo, deals Light damage. You can get multiple copies of the Gold-tailed Fox as rewards from the time-limited events in Solo Leveling Arise. The weapon isn't summonable on any banner or available to craft.

Holiday Party! Check-In

This check-in event grants rewards (for seven days) to players who log in to the game. It gives away the Gold-taled Fox on the seventh day (January 1, 2025).

Holiday Party! Event story

This event, available till January 1, 2025, features a boss challenge, a main event story, and mini-games. You can play the boss challenge to get the Gold-tailed Fox as a reward. However, doing so requires a Boss Challenge Key, which can be obtained by playing mini-games and clearing Daily Missions.

The event features Gift Bomb Hobgoblin as the boss in eight tiers of difficulty. Clearing each tier earns a certain point, and you will get the Gold-tailed Fox upon earning 3500 points.

Additionally, every time you score 3500 points after your first Gold-tailed Fox, you will get a copy of the weapon.

Holiday Party! World Drop & Collection event

This event will be available till January 1, 2025. During its run, you can earn Holiday Party Commemorative Red Socks, Holiday Party Commemorative Green Socks, and Star Cards by clearing Solo Leveling Arise Gates, Encore Missions, and Instance Dungeons.

The event features a Collection Event exchange shop that offers the Gold-tailed Fox for 40 Red Socks and 40 Green Socks. The exchange limit is three, meaning you can get three copies.

Here are the Gold-tailed Fox weapon’s skills in Solo Leveling Arise:

• Basic Attack: It deals 184%/188%/193% damage of Jinwoo’s attack. The attack’s final hit applies the Airborne effect.
• Core Attack: It inflicts 474% of Jinwoo’s attack damage and applies the Airborne effect with the final hit.
• Prelude: It deals 1223% of Jinwoo’s attack damage. This skill cools down in 25 seconds and inflicts the Airborne effect when it hits.

Here is the weapon’s passive skill and effects at each Advancement tier:

• Passive skill: The Gold-tailed Fox weapon’s passive skill grants nine stacks of the Fox Tail effect when Sung Jinwoo enters the battle. He gets one stack every time he uses the Prelude skill. If players use Evasion successfully while the skill is charging, it triggers the Extreme Evasion effect.
• Advancement tier 1: The weapon activates the Golden Wound effect on the enemy when Prelude hits.
• Advancement tier 2: The weapon’s Light damage increases by 10%.
• Advancement tier 3: Sung Jinwoo gains one stack of the Fox Tail effect when he triggers Extreme Evasion while using Prelude. Additionally, he gains one additional stack of the Fox Tail effect and a Shield when he uses Prelude. The Shield has an HP equal to 12.25% of Jinwoo’s max HP and lasts 9.9 seconds.
• Advancement tier 4: The Prelude skill’s cooldown decreases by 20%.
• Advancement tier 5: Sung Jinwoo rushes forward while using Prelude if there are enemies within a 5-meter range. If he only equips Light-type weapons, his Light damage increases by 20.24% and attack by 12.25%. He gets an enhanced Fox Tail effect.

Explanation of weapon’s effects:

• Fox Tail: This increases the critical hit rate and damage of Jinwoo’s Light Basic Skill by 12.25% (can stack once). The effect will be removed when he uses Light Basic Skill. The effect can stack up to nine times and can remain active infinitely.
• Golden Wound: Sung Jinwoo's Light damage increases by 99.99% when he attacks a target with the Golden Wound effect. He also recovered 9.99% of his HP once. This effect is removed when Jinwoo receives Light damage.
• Enhanced Fox Tail: This increases Jinwoo’s critical hit rate and damage by 20.24% (can stack once) when Jinoo uses a Light Basic Skill. The effect is removed when Jinwoo uses a Light Basic Skill. The enhanced Fox Tail lasts infinitely and can stack up to nine times.
