Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update patch notes: New hunter, equipment, Sung Jinwoo weapon, and more

Netmarble has rolled out new content in Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update. The developers have added new floors to the Workshop of Brilliant Light game mode and made some changes. Players can acquire new equipment to increase their combat power, add a new hunter to their roster, and obtain a new Sung Jinwoo weapon.

Additionally, Netmarble has added a new costume for Sung Jinwoo, Exclusive Weapons for SR hunters, events, and more. This article lists all the new content in the latest Solo Leveling Arise update for October 2024.

New Hunter in the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update

The new hunter debuting in the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update is called Gina. She joins the roster of Fire elemental hunters as an SSR rarity, belongs to the Mage class, and has abilities to stop enemies’ actions for several seconds with her Ultimate Skill.

Her Exclusive Weapon is called The Glamour of Self Worth, which can be obtained from events or the crafting feature. Players can get the hunter from her exclusive Rate-Up banner, available from October 10 to October 31, 2024.

New equipment in Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update

Players can obtain equipment, Core, to boost the combat power of Sung Jinwoo and other hunters in the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update. They work like artifacts, providing additional stats and special effects. Players can farm it on the Workshop of Brilliant Light’s Demon’s Castle Upper and Lower Floors. Each hunter can equip three types of Cores: Mind, Body, and Spirit.

Each Core grants two types of bonus stats, one at random, and the other bonus stat grants Attack, Defense, or HP (Additional Stats or % ) based on the Core-type. Players can use other Cores to upgrade them up to level 10. Upgrading after that requires Solidified Stones that match the Core’s rarity.

Cores also grant a passive effect that triggers when Sung Jinwoo or hunters of specific attributes equip them. The passive differs from the type of Core equipped, and the trigger condition is granted at random. One cannot change or upgrade the Core’s passive. When players equip Cores with identical passives on different parts, they will stack.

New Sung Jinwoo and SR hunters' exclusive Weapon in Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update

The Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update introduces a new Sung Jinwoo weapon, Demon King’s Daggers. It is a Wind-type SSR weapon in SLA, which can be obtained from the Custom Draw and Weapon Custom Draw.

Additionally, Netmarble has added new Exclusive Weapons for SR Hunters. Here is the list:

New Costumes in the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update

Netmarble has added new costumes, Joyful Flow for Sung Jinwoo and Ivory Flower for Gina. Players can obtain Joyful Flow by purchasing the Deluxe Edition of the latest Hunter Pass.

On the other hand, players can purchase Gina’s costume from the in-app store. Netmarble has also added three types of Chromas to Gina’s Costume, Ivory Flower.

Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update: New Workshop of Brilliant Light Dungeon and improvements

Netmarble has added Demon’s Castle Upper Floors to the Workshop of Brilliant Light. The Upper Floors unlock after clearing Demon’s Castle Lower floors, where players can challenge Monarch of White Flames, Baran. Additionally, the Upper Floors become available to players after reaching Battle Tier 30.

Additionally, one can unlock the normal difficulty of the Demon’s Castle Upper Floor after clearing the easy. The Demon’s Castle Upper Floors offers main and sub-stages with player and hunter modes. Netmarble has also adjusted the recommended CP and level of the Demon’s Castle Lower Floors in Hard difficulty.

Players can obtain Solidified Stone and Core equipment by clearing the Demon’s Castle Upper Floors stages instead of Burning Curse, Burning Greed, and Burning Blessing Solo Leveling Arise artifacts sets. They can acquire the artifacts by clearing the Instance Dungeon and Encore Missions after the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update.

Here is the list of new events in the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update:

Autumn Lucky Capsule event: This event will be available till October 31, 2024. Players can obtain Gina’s exclusive weapon and its designs and Rate Up Draw tickers from the event. One must use event tickets to participate, which can be obtained by completing missions.
Autumn Rock, Paper, Scissors event: It will be available till October 31, 2024. Players can gain Gold, Essence Stones, Weapon Draw Tickets, Skill Scrolls, Abyssal Fragment, Abyssal Essence, and more from the event.
Intangible Bindings! Gina’s Growth Tournament: This event will be available till October 31, 2024. Players can collect points by clearing missions in the tournament and obtain rewards based on the points collected and ranks obtained when the tournament ends.
Autumn Daily Missions Event: This event will be available till October 31, 2024. Players can obtain rewards such as Gold, Mana Imbued Fabric, and more by completing daily missions for 14 days. They can get 50 ✕ Custom Draw Tickets as rewards after completing all missions.

Changes to the Platinum Commemorative Coins

Players can obtain 240 Platinum Commemorative Coins while summoning the duplicate copy of SSR SLA hunters with Advancement tier 10 or higher. These changes don’t apply when hunters obtain a duplicate copy of SR hunters. Netmarble also has added new items players can exchange for Platinum Commemorative Coins. Instance Dungeon and Encore Missions

Here are the changes made to the Instance Dungeon and Encore Missions in the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update:

Netmarble decreased Kaisellin’s flying pattern frequency.
The developers fixed the issue where Kaisellin does not appear after the stealth pattern and stays in the same spot.
Netmarble has changed the effect when Kaisellin attacks after players fail to apply to destroy his Break Gauge.
Netmarble has fixed the issue of the invisibility that happens when the soul and character collide during Kaisellin’s Soul Summon pattern.
Players can obtain Burning Curse, Burning Greed, and Burning Blessing artifacts by clearing the Instance Dungeon and Encore Missions.

Battlefield of Time Challenge’s new season

Here are the rules of Battlefield of Time Challenge’s new season:

Sung Jinwoo	Sharp Wind: It increases Wind damage of Sung Jinwoo’s QTE Skill by 20% for 10 seconds.
Sung Jinwoo	Hand-to-Hand Combat: It increases Sung Jinwoo’s damage by 50% to the enemies within a 5 meters range.
Hunter	Gray Ascension: It increases Mages’ attacks by 50%.
Hunter	Flamebearer: It buffs Fire Hunters’ Basic Attack damage by 100%.

In addition to the above updates and changes, Netmarble has added a new Reverse Story Chapter for Chapters 19 and 20. Players can obtain clear and battle missions rewards for each chapter. Netmarble also added Gina’s Original Story and Secret Library in the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update. The developers have also lowered the Guild Level limit to purchasing Workshop of Brilliant Light Invitation to level 6 and Abyssal Essence to level 8.

System improvements and bug fixes

Here is the list of system improvements and bug fixes Netmarble made in the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update:

System improvements

Netmarble increased the number of Sung Jinwoo presets from 3 to 5.
Netmarble has added a feature that allows registering the current points when exiting from the pause screen in Power of Destruction and Guild Boss content.
Netmarble has moved the Guild button to the lobby’s quick menu. Enter through the Guild button located under the Draw menu.
The automatic transfer period of the Guild authority in case of the absence of a Guild Master, has shortened from 30 to 14 days.
The daily selection reward for the Hunters Association Premium Subscription has been buffed according to the Lv. 90 expansion.
For hunters with Secret Library in the Hunter Archive, the Complete mark will be displayed when claiming all the Secret Library rewards.
The “possessing hunter CP-related notice” will be added to the Hunter Archive point guide. The demo hunter may be formed in the team if the possessing hunter’s CP is lower than the demo hunter.
Netmarble has moved the Proof of the Strong exchange shop button to the Proof of the Strong menu.
When selecting Proof of the Strong penalty, the high difficulty mark based on the proof level will be improved.
Netmarble has improved the Achievement completion's UI of Proof of the Strong and reward claim completion.
Netmarble has also changed the sweep points players obtained while changing Sung Jinwoo’s jobs.

Bug fixes

Fixed the issue where the wrong mission info is displayed for Han Se-Mi’s Secret Library Mission.
Fixed the issue where the update notice is not being displayed when selecting the slot of a hunter that is scheduled to open in the Hunter Archive.
Fixed the issue where certain hunter skills were applied with the wrong stats in the Battlefield of Time.
Fixed the issue of not being able to repurchase packages within the grace period after the expiration date, when repurchasing the Monthly Bundles in the web shop.
Fixed the issue of not being able to repurchase or receive packages after purchasing the Step Up Pack Tier 1 in the web shop.
Fixed the issue where Nam Chae-Young’s Exclusive Weapon effect “Slayer's Mercy” is not being applied properly in certain cases.
Fixed the issue where certain continuous damages are being applied with no damage reduction when attacking “Workshop of Brilliant Light” and “Battlefield of Time” bosses while their Break Gauge is activated. The bosses above are applied with the damage reduction effect when possessing [Break Gauge].
Fixed the issue where certain bosses’ skill damage reduction effect is not being applied normally for the buff that is activated when clearing all the Instance Dungeon and Encore Missions battle missions.
