Solo Leveling Arise October 2024 developer note: New Baran Raid, growth system, Hunters adjustments, and more

Netmarble has released a Solo Leveling Arise October 2024 developer note, sharing a few details about new in-game features, such as the Baran Raid in the Workshop of Brilliant Light and The Power of Core growth system. It also discusses the upcoming balance adjustments for Fire elemental hunters, a Sung Jinwoo weapon, and more.

Netmarble will add the Baran Raid to Solo Leveling Arise's Workshop of Brilliant Light: Demon’s Castle Upper Floors.

As mentioned in the Solo Leveling Arise October 2024 developer note, Baran’s starting difficulty will be somewhere between Vulcan’s easy and normal difficulties. Unlike current mechanics, players won’t have to use specific hunter skills to defeat Baran.

The new boss will be weak against Dark Elemental damage and have a Break Gauge. Therefore, players can begin building Charlotte, Harper, Silver Mane, Lee Bora, and more Dark-type Solo Leveling Arise hunters in preparation.

Netmarble will also extend Charlotte's Rate-Up banner period by a week to assist players in facing the Baran.

Solo Leveling Arise October 2024 developer note: New growth system

A new Core System will be available in Solo Leveling Arise, thanks to the upcoming update.

Players can obtain new in-game items, called Cores, from the Workshop of Brilliant Light. These Cores will help them increase the combat prowess of Sung Jinwoo and other hunters in Solo Leveling Arise.

Players will also gain new special effects and stats when equipped with a Core that matches a character’s passive.

As mentioned in the Solo Leveling Arise October 2024 developer note, there will be three Cores in the game: Attack, Defense, and Support. Players can equip up to three Cores before entering the dungeons.

Solo Leveling Arise October 2024 developer note: Hunters and weapon adjustments

In response to player feedback, Netmarble will make tweaks to Fire elemental Hunters, Choi Jong-In and Yoo Soohyun. A Sung Jinwoo weapon, the Demon King’s Longsword, will also receive balance adjustments.

Here are the details, as mentioned in the Solo Leveling Arise October 2024 developer note:

1) Choi Jong-In

At Advancement 0, Choi Jong-In’s attack will increase from 40% to 50%. The Attack Defense Penetration of The Ultimate Hunter effect will increase from 16% to 20%. The End of Days' damage, at Advancement 3, will increase from 50% to 60%. The Burn damage Choi Jong-In deals every 3 seconds will increase from 50% to 100%.

Additionally, Netmarble will adjust the Attack Increase rate of Choi Jon-Inn’s Exclusive Weapon, Equivalent Exchange, at each advancement. Here are the details:

Advancement 0: From 5% to 5%
Advancement 1: From 7.5% to 8%
Advancement 2: From 10% to 11%
Advancement 3: From 12.5% to 14%
Advancement 4: From 15% to 17%
Advancement 5: From 18% to 20%

2) Yoo Soohyun

At Advancement 0, the damage of magic firearms generated around Yoo Soohyun will be increased from 160% to 140% of her Attack.

The attack of Core Attack triggered while using Kill Shot at Advancement 1 will increase from 30% to 40%. The Defense Penetration at Advancement 2 will increase from 10% to 12%.

The damage of Hell Fire and Kill Shot will increase from 4% to 6%, and the maximum limit from 80% to 120%, at Advancement 5.

3) Demon King’s Longsword

Netmarble will adjust the effects of the Sung Jinwoo weapon, Demon King’s Longsword, at each Advancement Tier, as mentioned in the Solo Leveling Arise October 2024 developer note.

Here are the changes Netmarble will make in forthcoming updates, as mentioned in the Solo Leveling Arise October 2024 developer note:

Netmarble will add Cha Hae-In, Alicia Blanche, Meilin Fisher, Yoo Soohyun, Amamiya Mirei, and Han Se-Mi to the Rate Up Draw.
The developers will add Meilin Fisher, Yoo Soohyun, Amamiya Mirei, Han Se-Mi, and Go Gunhee to the Special Summons after the reset on 10/16. Additionally, players can obtain Sung Jinwoo Weapon Phoenix Soul and Zeke's Fragment from the Special Summons.
Netmarble will decrease the flying pattern frequency of Kaisellin and Kaisellin will fly and charge towards the user when players fail to put him in the Break state.
Netmarble will place the guild menu for easier access.
Netmarbel will add a new feature, allowing players to register scores when they pause the battle during Power of Destruction and Guild Boss.
Players will be able to obtain Level 73 and 78 Artifacts from certain difficulty levels of Instance Dungeon and Encore Missions.
Netmarble will increase Sung Jinwoo’s preset from 3 to 5.
Players will get an increased selective reward for each subscription level.
Players in the guild level 6 or higher will be able to purchase The Workshop of Brilliant Light Key.
Netmarble will add a new Blessing Stone Slot on October 31, 2024. Players can only add a Blessing Stone that boosts survival in the new slot.
Players will be able to obtain 240 Platinum Commemorative Coins while obtaining additional hunters with full Transcendence Advancement instead of the previous 15. Players who have obtained Platinum Commemorative Coins through Transcendence Advancement will get 225 coins per duplicate count, after the update.
Netmarble will add new items to the Platinum Commemorative Coin exchange shop. The table below shows the details:
