Total War Empire Mobile was a game that I was excited to lay my hands on, as the Total War franchise has been a cornerstone in the real-time strategy genre on both PC and Mobile devices. Total War Empire has already been a hit on PC, garnering very positive reviews from players. When Feral Interactive brought the mobile port of this title, I was excited to learn more about the hype.

The mobile port of the Total War Empire takes you to 18th-century warfare to create an empire. Sounds simple right? However, that is not the case. To the people who are looking to get into the strategy gaming genre with this title, be ready to spend a few days figuring out what is going on in the game.

The game has a steep learning curve and you would have to give some days to learn the basics. I found myself struggling to keep up for the first few hours. But after that, the gameplay felt crisp and easy.

That being said, the mobile adaptation of Total War Empire retains the intricate blend of turn-based strategy and real-time battles that the series is renowned for. Players can command various factions, manage economies, and engage in both land and naval battles.

Another great thing working in the favor of Total War Empire Mobile is the way developers have created the UI. The interface has the rustic feeling of the 18th century. Furthermore, the positioning and transitions in UI do not hinder the gameplay experience. In my opinion, the interface is better for a larger device like tablets but still holds up for smaller screens too.
