Jakarta - MotoGP’s nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi is ready to win more championships in the world’s premier motorbike racing this year after he reunited with the Yamaha team.
Rossi left Yamaha team to join the Italian Ducati team but has never succeeded to regain championship in MotoGP since then, reports Xinhua.
“Perhaps it would be a bit difficult in early races, therefore I have to work hard step by step. My target is to win the race this season,” the Italian motorbike racer Valentino Rossi told a press conference here, flanked by his Spanish teammate Jorge Lorenzo.
Rossi who had joined Honda before joining Yamaha team said that his best racing career was the time with the latter.
“I am now too excited to dig more potential in our team. I have a strong and excellent team. We are ready to race,” Rossi said in a session to launch the new logo of Japanese motorbike vendor Yamaha here.
