Former world champion Nicky Hayden has confirmed that he is leaving Ducati at the end of the year after five years with the team.
“I’m not coming back to Ducati in MotoGP next year I’m not really sure what I’m going to do. I’ve got some options that are interesting,” Hayden said.
The American won the world championship in 2006 with Repsol Honda but has managed just three podium finishes in the five
years he has been with Ducati. Cal Crutchlow of Britain will reportedly take his place in the team.
