Vinales wins Moto3 race at Spanish Motorcycle GP

JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA, Spain (AFP) –

Maverick Vinales of Spain on a KTM won the Moto3 category race at the Spanish Motorcycle Grand Prix meeting here on Sunday.

The race was halted with just 16 of the scheduled 23 laps completed after an accident which saw French rider Alan Techer injured in a fall.

Vinales was ahead at the time with second place going to fellow Spaniard Luis Salom and with Germany’s Jonas Folger in third.
