We are only five races into the fifth ever season of Formula E and it is becoming one of the biggest race series in the world.

The growth of Formula E has been rapid which has seen many recognisable names in the motorsport world take part including Felipe Massa and Nelson Piquet Jr.

There have also been big name manufacturers of Audi and Jaguar forming their own teams in Formula E and just last week, Mercedes announced their participation for next season.

It is exciting times for electric racing!

But also the races in the 2018/19 championship have produced scripts no one could write, not even the people in Hollywood could come up with the scenarios we have been spoilt with so far.

For example, February's Mexico E-Prix saw Lucas Di Grassi steal the win from under Wehrlein's nose on the home straight after the German lost all electricity just yards away from the finish line.

And let's not forget the first four races have been won by four different drivers.
