If we look at his stats with 26 wins and 94 podiums to his name out of of total 152 MotoGP starts and 3 times runner up in MotoGP Championship, but still every year he is second best Repsol Honda rider.
And as he is with them since 2006 , it’s time for honda to replace him. If they do Marc can have a great competition on other side of the garage.
We look at best possible replacements for Pedrosa.
-
Tito Rabat
The only fact that he is closely associated with Repsol honda makes him prime contender to replace Dani Pedrosa. The current Moto2 champion still rides in Moto2 with Marc VDS and as he is close friend of Marx marquez, it would be quite obvious to have him as a teammate.
-
Cal Crutchlow
The experienced british campaigner ,2006 British Supersport Championship champion and the 2009Supersport World Championship winner, and 8 MotoGP podiums to his name, Cal Crutchlow will prove to be a safe bet for Repsol Honda, given the fact he has experience from Yamaha and Ducati MotoGP teams.
-
Scott Redding
The 22-year-old and the youngest rider in the history of Grand Prix motorcycle racing to ever win a race, Scott Redding will prove to be a strong competition for Marc Marquez. As he switched to MotoGP in 2014, he will be eager to show his level on a strong bike and factory Repsol Honda could do the same for him.
-
Jack Miller
The runner-up in the 2014 Moto3 World Championship and the first rider to make a switch from Moto3 to would be best suitable if Repsol Honda wishes to cash in on a young rider and as he has been brought in by Honda Racing Corporation into MotoGP, it will be quite obvious to see him in factory team.
