Italian MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi has said Spanish Marc Marquez "betrayed" him and behaved "like a friend only when he won" stressing that "there will be no more personal relations" with the Honda rider.
"I let myself be fooled by Marquez, he betrayed me. He arrived telling me he was my follower, but they were all lies. I had believed and was ready to have a mature rivalry, giving 100 percent on the track and then behaving in the same way out," he said, reports Efe.
"But it was all lies. In Assen I understood that he behaved like a friend only when he won."
The Italian, whose brushes with Marquez in the last MotoGP World Championship sparked many controversies, said, "there will be no more personal relationship" between the two riders.
Rossi accused Spanish riders of not allowing him to move forward in the Valencia race last year, especially Marquez.
