Sunday will be remembered as the black day in Moto GP as it lost a young and promising star Shoya Tomizawa. The 19 Year racer from Japan, succumbed to the injury sustained in a crash in the San Marino, Moto 2 GP.The fatal accident took place when he came off from his bike in lap 12, turn 10 in order to keep pace with charging Italian Alex de Angelis. He was hit violently by the bikes of Alex De Angelis and Scott Redding, who both also tumbled but looked relatively unhurt.
All the riders of the moto GP were shocked after the race. They could not believe that they lost one of the youngest and most joyful friend.Expressing their grief and disbelief Italian, Valentino Rossi and winner of this race said that “When it happens like this nothing else matters”.MotoGP series leader Jorge Lorenzo, who finished second in the mot GP was shell-shocked. He said “Yes, it is so sad, so sad”, to BBC.
