15 NASCAR drivers competing in the 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals

The 39th annual Chili Bowl Nationals this year will be held from January 13-18 at the Tulsa Expo Center. Also known as the “Super Bowl of Midget Racing”, this event has drivers competing from different racing formats. This year, the competition will have over 350+ drivers which also includes talented drivers that are associated with NASCAR.

The Chili Bowl’s format first includes the preliminary race followed by the Saturday championship feature.

Here is a breakdown of the 15 NASCAR drivers competing in the 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals:

#1. Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson, the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Champion, is also a two-time Chili Bowl Nationals winner (2020 and 2021). He has made 11 championship feature appearances in 16 attempts before this and is making his 17th appearance in 2025. Recently, Larson won the A-Class and Outlaw feature at the 2025 Tulsa Shootout.


#2. Christopher Bell

Christopher Bell is a NASCAR Cup Series driver and has won three consecutive Chili Bowl titles so far from 2017 to 2019. He has a total of nine championship feature appearances in 12 attempts. After a two-year break, Bell is making a return to the Chili Bowl in 2025.


#3. Kyle Busch

Kyle Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion, is making his debut at the Chili Bowl Nationals in 2025 following a disappointing 2024 season. Busch has experience in dirt racing over the past three years at the Tulsa Shootout, where he recently won two heat races.


#4. Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., a 2024 Talladega Superspeedway winner, has eight championship feature appearances in 17 attempts. His best finish at the race was seventh place in 2021. This is Stenhouse’s 18th time at the Chili Bowl Nationals.


#5. Ty Gibbs

Ty Gibbs, the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion and Cup Series driver, is making his Chili Bowl debut in 2025. Gibbs recently went into dirt racing at the Turkey Night Grand Prix.


#6. JJ Yeley

JJ Yeley, a veteran NASCAR driver, has taken part in 28 Chili Bowl Nationals and has made eight championship feature appearances. His achievements include advancing 69 positions during the 2004 event and winning second place in 2007.


#7. Josh Bilicki

Josh Bilicki is a journeyman NASCAR competitor and is making his third consecutive Chili Bowl attempt in 2025. In 2023, he reached the J-Main and is looking to go further in the alphabet soup of qualifiers this year.


#8. Brent Crews

At just 16 years old, Brent Crews is the youngest driver in the 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals. The part-time Truck Series driver with Tricon Garage has already made one championship feature appearance at the Chili Bowl, making this his second.


#9. Corey Day

Corey Day, who debuted in the Trucks and ARCA Series in 2024, has two championship feature appearances at the Chili Bowl. His best finish was coming third in 2024, and he will compete in the event for the fourth time in 2025.


#10. Brad Sweet

Brad Sweet, a former NASCAR driver, has won six consecutive World of Outlaws Sprint Car Championships (2019-2024) and the 2024 Kubota High Limit Racing Championship. With over 75 wins and notable ones like the Knoxville Nationals, he’s also competed in NASCAR and co-founded High Limit Racing to elevate sprint car events. He will be participating in the Warren CAT Qualifying Night on Tuesday.


#11. Todd Kluever

Todd Kluever was previously a NASCAR driver having won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year in 2005 and has taken part in different NASCAR series, including the Truck, Busch Grand National, and Cup Series.

He won super late model races, including a track championship in 2001, and the Midwest All-Star Racing Series title. He is now competing in the Warren CAT Qualifying Night on Tuesday. Kluever is a regular at the Chili Bowl Nationals.


#12. Glenn Styres

Glenn Styres is a driver-owner in the NASCAR Canada Series and has over 54 sprint car wins, including 360 Sprint Car series championships (2005-2007, 2014-2015). He owns as well as competes at Ohsweken Speedway. This time, he is racing on Friday’s Hard Rock Casino Qualifying Night.


#13. Dave Blaney

Dave Blaney is a veteran of over 450 NASCAR Cup Series starts. Blaney won the 1995 World of Outlaws Championship, over 50 sprint car wins, and also the 1984 USAC Silver Crown Championship. He also won the 1993 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, has 473 Cup Series starts and a Busch Series win in 2006. This will be his 6th appearance in the race.


#14. Tony Stewart

Tony Stewart won three NASCAR Cup Series championships (2002, 2005, 2011) and 62 total race wins in NASCAR. He was the 1997 IndyCar Champion and won the USAC Triple Crown in 1995. He is also a two-time national winner of the Chili Bowl (2002, 2007). He last competed in the race in 2008, and is making a return after a long hiatus.


#15. Logan Seavey

Defending Chili Bowl champion Logan Seavey will once again bring his ARCA racing experience to the competition. He made his ARCA debut in 2018, finishing 3rd, and registered his first win in 2019 at DuQuoin. He is also a two-time Chili Bowl champion (2023,2024) and USAC Triple Crown winner.
