Richard Childress Racing is a stock car racing organization that has been active for more than five decades. The team was originated in 1969 by Richard Childress. He had primarily started racing independently. From the money he earned, he invested it in his organization.

This definitely paid off, as the team has collected six NASCAR Cup Series titles, five Xfinity Series championships, and two Camping World Truck Series titles over the years. The team has also enjoyed a total of 255 victories across the top three NASCAR series.

Here are the top three drivers with the longest careers at Richard Childress Racing.

Kevin Harvick is one of the most decorated racers in NASCAR history. He started his passion for racing at the age of five and started locally participating in stock car races as a teenager. Harvick had a natural competitive spirit as he took part in many other sports in his childhood.

After years of hard work, Harvick made his NASCAR debut in the Craftsman Truck Series. Because of this, he snagged a development deal with RCR. From then on he won the 2014 NASCAR Cup Series (with Stewart-Hass Racing), over 60 Cup Series overall and two NASCAR Xfinity Series titles (with Richard Childress Racing).

#2 Austin Dillion (15 years)

Austin Dillion is a legacy racer for RCR. He first joined the team as a developing racer and gained experience by racing on dirt tracks. Not long after in 2009, he began his professional racing career when he represented RCR in the Truck Series.

This put him on the path of success, as he won the Truck Series title in 2011 and the Xfinity Series two years later. His relationship with Richard Childress Racing is long-standing as he is a grandson of Richard Childress. He is currently a full-time driver for the No. 3 team in the Cup Series.

#1 Dale Earnhardt Sr. (18 years)

One of the most decorated NASCAR drivers of all time, Dale Earnhardt spent nearly two decades with RCR. He won seven NASCAR Cup Series championships and 76 races over the course of his career.

Earnhardt was one of the reasons for RCR's success and went on to make history with the team, winning six Cup titles after returning to RCR in 1984 following a brief two-year spell with Bud Moore Engineering. Those six titles came over an nine-year period.

Unfortunately, Earnhardt passed away after a crash during the 2001 Daytona 500. But his legacy lives on, both at Richard Childress Racing and in NASCAR as a whole.
