Austin Dillon is a professional American stock car racing driver, who is a two-time NASCAR champion and drives the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Richard Childress Racing in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series. Austin is the grandson of NASCAR Hall of Famer Richard Childress, the owner of Richard Childress Racing. Austin won the 2011 NASCAR Truck Series Championship and the 2013 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship. As of February 2025, Austin has five NASCAR Cup Series wins, which include the prestigious Coca-Cola 600 in 2017 and the Daytona 500 in 2018. Austin holds the record for most consecutive poles in the Xfinity series with four. RCR replaced Dillon's crew chief with veteran Matt Alexander in the early 2024 season, both of them have a successful history together, collecting four wins and 39 Top-10 finishes since 2017.

In 2005, Dillon began his racing career in Bandolero and Legends with dirt track racing. Dillon was the 2008 Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR Camping World East Series. Austin initially drove for Andy Santerre Motorsports but moved to Richard Childress Racing. He made his debut at the Camping World Truck Series at the Iowa Speedway. His first race and win were at the 2008 An American Revolution 150 at Greenville-Pickens. Dillon finished the 2024 Cup Series 32nd in the driver standings.
