Carson Scott Hocevar is an American professional stock car racing driver. Carson competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series. He races for the team Spire Motorsports. Hocevar began racing by competing in quarter midgets at the age of 7, and won 79 feature races and 15 national championships. As a 12-year-old, in 2015 Carson started racing at Berlin Raceway and won the track Outlaw late Model championships. He made his debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2019 with Jordan Anderson Racing at just 16 years old.

In 2023, he expanded his racing schedule to include several starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and also made his NASCAR Cup Series debut. Carson's first race in the NASCAR Cup Series was the 2023 Enjoy Illinois 300 at Gateway. His performances in races showed his skill and potential as a race driver, leading him to be a full-time race driver in the Cup Series for the 2024 season. He currently drives the No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Spire Motorsports and competes for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year. As of August 2024, his achievements include the 2020 Winchester 400 Winner, the 2020 Redbud 400 Winner, and the 2020, 2021 Money in the Bank 150 Winner.

Carson drives for the team Spire Motorsports, which competes in the NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The team was founded in 2018 and is owned by Jeff Dickerson and T.J. Puchyr, who have extensive knowledge in motorsports management and driver representation. As of August 2024, Spire Motorsports a subsidiary of Spire Sports + Entertainment. The team has three Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 teams, The No.7 for Corey LaJoie, The No.71 for Zane Smith in association with Track House Racing, and the No.77 for Carson Hocevar.
