Darrell Waltrip’s career right from being a multi-time Cup Series champion to a former broadcaster with FOX Sports, has been all about giving back to the sport. One of the most well-deserved inductees into the prestigious NASCAR Hall of Fame, Waltrip etched his name as one of NASCAR's “50 greatest drivers” back in 1998.

As far as all-time wins are concerned, Waltrip ties fourth with the legendary Bobby Allison of the Alabama Gang with 84 solid wins, a number that is almost impossible to achieve with the NextGen machine. Moreover, he ranks fifth in all-time pole wins with 59 of those awards, all of which came between 1972 and 2000.

He won the Cup Series championship three times in 1981, 1982, and 1985. The biggest highlight of his career is perhaps when he emerged victorious in the 1989 edition of the Daytona 500.
