Jeff Gordon, the former NASCAR driver, earned himself thousands of fans with his race-craft and winning habits. As he pulled millions of fans to the sport, he also pulled sponsors aplenty for him and Hendrick Motorsports. Despite working with numerous brands during his career, Gordon never drove for Budweiser.

Being one of the top names in NASCAR, his association with sponsorships often causes confusion. Fans wonder if he tied up with Budweiser in NASCAR. The answer, in short, is no. He never drove in any Budweiser-sponsored cars in the three NASCAR national series.

However, his name comes up with Budweiser as the former Hendrick Motorsports driver won the 1997 The Bud at the Glen, a race sponsored by the renowned brewery. Interestingly, his HMS teammate, Ricky Craven drove the #25 Budweiser Chevrolet into the race.

Gordon also won the 2003 Budweiser shootout held at Daytona International Speedway and claimed the Budweiser pole award after qualifying for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series 3M Performance.

Budweiser has been an immensely common name in NASCAR. The association of the brand with Dale Earnhardt and his son, Dale Earnhardt Jr. made it one of the most recognizable names in stock car racing.

It was started by the late Earnhardt, who drove the first Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series in 1982, and was carried forward by his son, Dale Jr. He drove the famous #8 Budweiser Chevrolet during his NASCAR career, and years after his full-time retirement, he returned with it.

The 15-time Most Popular Driver award winner sat behind the wheel of JR Motorsport's #8 Budweiser Chevrolet in the recently concluded 2024 Late Model Series at Florence Motor Speedway. With that said, Jeff Gordon never raced in Budweiser-sponsored cars.
