Danica Patrick is one of NASCAR's most celebrated female drivers in history. She made a significant impact on IndyCar, securing multiple pole positions and achieving a career-best third-place finish in the prestigious 2009 Indianapolis 500.
She made history in 2008 by becoming the first woman to win an IndyCar Series race at the Indy Japan 300. Later transitioning to NASCAR, Patrick achieved further success, including a pole position at the prestigious Daytona 500 in 2013. She retired from full-time racing in 2017 and has since established herself as an entrepreneur and F1 commentator for Sky Sports.
$80 million-worth Danica Patrick (according to Celebrity Net Worth) has admitted to not being a "car girl," prioritizing comfort and practicality over luxury and speed. However, she has owned several high-end vehicles over the years.
Lamborghini Gallardo
Danica Patrick's 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo was perhaps the first luxury sports car in her car collection. The Gallardo had a naturally aspirated V10 engine with an original price of about $165,900.
She bought this sleek sports car back in 2006. However, Patrick revealed on Joe Rogan’s podcast that she didn’t drive the Gallardo much due to its lack of cupholders.
"I bought a Lamborghini a long while back, and it didn’t have a cupholder, so I was like, ‘Oh, this is stupid.’ It’s not practical, so yes," Patrick said.
Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG
Patrick later bought the 2008 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG, a top model of the W164 M-Class. This high-performance SUV was known for its robust engine (a 6.2L V8) and stylish design. Originally costing around $87,000, the car got out of fashion quickly, so she decided to get rid of it and eventually replaced it with a Chevy Tahoe.
"And then I bought the Mercedes, and that had a cupholder. It had a couple of cupholders, yep, so it was good. But then, you know, technology evolved, and it didn’t have Bluetooth to play my music. So I was like, ‘Well, I’m gonna have to get rid of this.’ That was when I started driving for Chevy, and then I got a Tahoe," she added.
2020 Jaguar F-TYPE SVR
Danica Patrick's most recent known car acquisition is the 2020 Jaguar F-Type SVR Convertible, valued at $151,510. The car includes a 5.0-liter V8 supercharged engine with 575 horsepower. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 200 mph.
