Geoffrey Eli Bodine was among the list of 50 Greatest Drivers, NASCAR originally released in 1998. Geoff Bodine’s name was also featured in the list of 75 Greatest NASCAR Drivers of all time in 2023. He is one of the Top-10 Modified drivers in NASCAR. Bodine’s skill made him an international superstar after he set the record of most wins in one season in Modified series. He also is featured in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Bodine is also a bobsled builder. He was known to be an eager racer. His Bo-Dyn bobsleds have helped America win three medals at the 2002 Winter Olympics and 2010 Winter Olympics.

Geoff Bodine Wins

Geoff Bodine has 18 wins in NASCAR Cup Series and six victories in the Xfinity Series. He is among the legends of the NASCAR Modified series and claimed a record-setting achievement of 55 victories out of 84 events in the 1978 season.

Bodine started off his NASCAR Career on a high note in 1982 by winning the Winston Cup Series Rookie of the Year Award. He claimed his first Cup Series victory on the Martinsville Speedway at the Sovran Bank 500 in 1984. Bodine won the 1986 Daytona 500 in 1986.

Bodine’s last victory in the Cup Series was at the Bud at the Glen in 1996 at Watkins Glen. He achieved a career best of three wins in one season during the 1990 and 1994 Cup Series. Bodine’s first victory in the Xfinity Series came at the 1982 TranSouth 200 and his final victory in the series was at the 1989 County Squire 200.
