After an action-packed weekend at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Brad Keselowski's spotter, TJ Majors, is making headlines for his remark on the sign incident before the race ended. Recently, TJ Majors, Brett Griffin, and Freddie Kraft were featured on a podcast with Door Bumper Clear, and while chit-chatting, TJ Major made a bold, hilarious comment on the signs present on the side of the tracks.
The Dirty Do Media shared a snippet of Brad Keselowski's spotter on their X account. TJ said:
"These cars are going by 190 mile an hour in a pack. You see how bad the air is behind a semi when you're doing 70 on the highway. Imagine, you know, the air on that fence right there. So I think this stuff's gonna happen from time to time. Whatever I really don't care." [00:00]
This caught Brett Griffison off guard. He got back to Majors and made another bold comment:
"I can't f***ing belive you said that. If I didn't love you, I'd slap you." [00:15]
Griffin threw in one more punch and added:
"He can't ever just put himself the whole race up with 11 to go. Then it took five laps to pick the sign up, but go back green took that long." [00:30]
At the Atlanta Motor Speedway, in the 251st lap, with just 11 laps to the finish, one of the Walmart signs came flying into the track, causing a caution. This turn of events restarted the whole race, and the lead drivers had to regain their leads. Brett Griffin accused SMI of the situation and expressed his anger on the podcast.
"This is on SMI. SMI is in charge of that sign and that track. NASCAR is in charge of the event. NASCAR should find the Ever Living s**tout of that track, something 100% should come down on somebody." [01:00]
Brad Keselowski's road to the playoffs
Driver number 6 Brad Keselowski had some exciting races this season. Keselowski is currently competing to earn his spot in the top 12 with just two races left. At the Atlanta Motor Speedway, car number 6 started and finished at the 19th pace, earning him 18 points to add to his scorecard. The next race will be held at Watkins Glen, and Brad Keselowski's record is not looking in favor of the RFK driver.
The closest Keselowski ever got to a win at Watkins Glen was from 2011 to 2014, securing the second position. But in the past three years, he hasn't even entered the top 10 at the track. In 2021, Brad was 35th; continuing further in 2022, he secured 19th place, and finally, in 2023, he was 15th. It will be intriguing to see Brad Keselowski's performance on the track this year.
