"It gets like, omg, we are gonna hit that” - Mark Martin on his encounter with a UFO

In an interview with Chase Holden uploaded on YouTube channel, Mark Martin talked about an incident that had happened a few years back when he was returning to Daytona with his copilot Jason Simpson.

That night, they were traveling at an altitude of 45,000 feet over Jacksonville, which would have been 18,000 feet on a usual day. Describing the incident, Mike Martin said,

“There’s no stars out, and it’s black, everything except the lights in Daytona, Orlando, and Miami. And I see a solid white light that’s not flashing, and that could only be like a landing light. And, it would have to be far away because I couldn’t see the green and red wing tip lights.
"It keeps getting closer and closer. Finally, I fixate on it. and, it gets like, omg, we are gonna hit that, and I grabbed the yoke and kicked it out of autopilot and was getting to jerk the plane to the right, and Jason was like, what? and I said, look!”

Once Simpson got a handle on the situation, he placed his camera on the windshield trying to capture the UFO.

On their way to the Jacksonville approach, the duo took time to contact them over the radio to ask if there were any aircraft in the area as they sought to avoid a collision, to which the response was negative.

They were assured that there was nothing to be worried about. The incident took place some time during the mid-90s.
