Samantha Busch disclosed her strategy for tackling the social media hate her husband Kyle Busch receives. She also mentioned that users are entitled to their opinions.

Samantha has created a large presence on social media, especially after all the charitable work she has done. She has close to 250k followers on Instagram alone, stretching to 230k on X, which she joined in 2010. An influencer with such a large number of followers might sometimes be a target for criticism.

Talking to NASCAR insider Jeff Gluck in 2017, Samantha revealed that she sometimes comes across negative comments aimed at her husband Kyle Busch and son Brexton on social media. However, she perceives it as users not targeting Kyle the person, but the driver.

"Well, I just look at it as that everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, and a lot of times I just try to think that people aren’t picking on my Kyle — they’re picking on the driver, the persona of that or what happened in the race — so I try to separate the two and not let it get to me," Samantha Busch said.

"I’d rather use my energy to respond back to them" - When Samantha Busch said she focuses on positive comments about Kyle Busch and herself on social media

Adding to her statement, Samantha revealed that she tries to keep her focus on her family and all the "crazy stuff" that goes around them. She reasoned that she would rather reply to positive comments on Kyle Busch on social media than waste her energy on the negative ones.

"I think I just focus on Kyle and Brexton and all the crazy stuff that we already have going on and try and ignore (the critics)," Samantha added. "I try to really focus on the people that are positive and supportive and uplifting to us, because if they’re going to take the time to tweet or do something nice, I’d rather use my energy to respond back to them and build those relationships than focus on the people that just really want you to react."

Although her son Brexton was too young to race when she talked about this, he has now joined hands with his father Kyle Busch. While the latter is a veteran NASCAR driver now, his son is just starting out with racing. He started racing in various junior series in 2020. Currently just nine years old, Brexton has accumulated 30 wins across different series.
