NASCAR Xfinity Series team owner Kelley Earnhardt Miller shared her thoughts on what she wants for the next 10 years of her life.

Kelley, the daughter of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt, is the CEO of JR Motorsports (JRM), which she owns alongside her brother, Dale Earnhardt Jr. She spoke about wanting to retire in the future and her 10-year plan on a podcast with Angie Skinner.

"Hopefully, one day I can retire, amen, at an age where I can still have some life to enjoy...I have kind of a 10-year plan of, you know, wanting to continue to work as hard as I work now. I'm not saying I don't want to work after 10 years, because I don't—I could never let go of JM or anything like that," Kelley said (53.40).

The 52-year-old (who is worth about $50 million according to Celebirty Net Worth) currently serves on the board of many companies and manages the JRM's race team and business ventures. Kelly, who has helped develop top NASCAR drivers like Chase Elliott, Tyler Reddick and William Byron, expressed a desire to ease up on the workload.

"I don't want to do it as hard. And so, you know, maybe that means other people coming in so that I don't have to work as hard. But, you know, I just— I just want to keep doing what we're doing, you know, keep taking advantage of the opportunities that come along, and just looking at everything on how I can advance our company," she added (54:10).

Kelley also plans to stay involved in her two daughter's lives and hopes to be a grandmother some day.

"I want to want to wake up to do what I do, and to have fun with what I do, and my family, and my business, and all of those things. And so that—that is success to me," Kelly stated (55:13).

Kelly's 24-year-old daughter, Karsyn Elledge has competed in midget races like the Chili Bowl. She also won a race at Millbridge Speedway in 2018.

"Really unbelievable" - Kelley Earnhardt on first Xfinity Series owner championship

Kelley Earnhardt's JRM won its first Xfinity Series owner championship this year with Justin Allgaier. The team has competed full-time in the series for 19 seasons and has four driver championships. It has about 88 total wins in the series.

Earnhardt talked about how pleasantly surprised she was after the victory in November.

"Really unbelievable. I'm just truly happy for every single person that's been involved from day one for JR Motorsports and for Justin," Kelley said (via Sirius XM NASCAR Radio).

Kelley is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and has worked as the vice president of sales and vice president of procurement at Action Performance.
