Jeff Burton is an American former stock car racing driver who primarily competed in the NASCAR Cup Series from 1993 to 2014. He competed in 695 races, winning 21 of them, starting from pole position six times, and securing 254 top-10 finishes. Although widely regarded as one of the best drivers in the sport, Burton never won the Cup Series championship. However, he came close in the 2000 season, putting up a strong fight against Bobby Labonte and Dale Earnhardt.
