There are only two drivers in NASCAR Cup Series who have been fortunate enough to secure more victories than NASCAR great, Jeff Gordon. Gordon has had a superstar career in NASCAR with multiple “Crown Jewel” victories and four NASCAR Cup Series. He retired from NASCAR after the end of the 2015 season. Even while retiring, Gordon was 3rd in the Drivers Standings of his last season.

Jeff Gordon currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of Hendrick Motorsports where he raced throughout his career. He is the co-owner of the no.48 team previously raced by Jimmie Johnson and has an equity stake in his own no. 24 team. He also worked as a NASCAR Broadcaster for FOX Sports alongside fellow NASCAR driver Darrell Waltrip.

He has the most wins in NASCAR’s modern era and the most number wins in one season in the modern era with 13 victories during the 1988 Cup Series.

Jeff Gordon achieved his first victory in the sport at the 1994 Coca-Cola 600. He started off his career with a Crown Jewel victory, going on to achieve 18 victories in the Crown Jewel races over 25 years.

He is also the leader of pole positions in the modern era and is third in overall poles achieved in Cup Series. Gordon has claimed 81 poles, setting the record of getting one pole in every season for 23 years consecutively.

Gordon was able to achieve his first Top-10 finish in NASCAR at the 1993 Daytona 500 in his rookie season. He had 11 Top-10 finishes in that season and finished 14th in the Drivers Standings. He went down with glory achieving 21 Top-10 finishes in his last season in NASCAR, courtesy of which he stood 3rd in the Drivers Standings.
