The move happened immediately after Spire had finalized a $40 million deal with Live Fast Motorsports.

Kyle Busch Motorsports, Rowdy Manufacturing and their trucks and CNC shops were all sold off to Spire Motorsports. After the deal was completed, Spire Motorsports tweeted thanking Kyle Busch and his team for their work. Kyle Busch Motorsports was an immensely successful team in the Craftsman Truck Series. It was the team with the most number of wins in the series.

In the tweet released by Spire Motorsports, they stated “Spire Motorsports has tremendous respect for Kyle and Samantha Busch, their staff and everything they’ve built and accomplished at KBM over the years. They created a record-setting, championship-winning race team. Those accomplishments can’t be overstated.”

Busch was confident about his decision and expressed his faith in Spire Motorsports in an interview, “I’m confident that our assets and employees are in good hands moving forward. I don’t see the winning ways changing at all. I’ve known the Spire guys for a long time and their recent investments in Nascar show their commitment to success.”
