The NASCAR Xfinity Series is the second-tier of NASCAR racing. It is a stock car racing series similar to the Cup Series. The Xfinity Series works as a feeder series for the top series of NASCAR. It also features many prominent Cup Series drivers who race part-time in the Xfinity Series. The Xfinity series follows a similar schedule as the NASCAR Cup Series. The 2024 Xfinity Series was won by Justin Allgaier for JR Motorsports. JR Motorsports was the winner of the 2024 Owner’s championship. Cole Custer, one of the competing drivers in the Championship four, was the regular season champion in the series. The NASCAR Xfinity Series holds 33 races throughout the season.
The Xfinity Series follows a championship system similar to its sister series, Cup Series and Truck Series in NASCAR. The regular season consists of 26 different races which decide the championship contenders. Unlike the Cup Series or Truck Series, the Xfinity Series hosts 12 drivers in the Playoffs. The playoffs consist of six races and four drivers are eliminated every third race. The final race of the Xfinity Series, the Xfinity Series Championship Race is competed between four drivers.
