In a recent interview, Kyle Larson talked about his chances of securing the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series title. Larson, who most recently claimed the Sonoma Raceway win, explained that the consistency between him and Hendrick Motorsports can pave the way toward his 2024 Championship.

With a title already in his bag from 2021, Larson is confident that 2024 has something better in store for him. The ongoing season has already been positive for him, and he believes he has "better" chances to claim the championship.

"We've been really strong, we've been consistent and executing very well," said Larson to SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. "I know 2021 went amazing, but I would say this year seems even better than that year, because we're like executing [races] really well."

The Toyota/Save Mart 350 marked the #5 driver's third win of the season. He won in Las Vegas and Kansas earlier and propelled his lead to the top, despite starting one less race compared to his competitors.

With his consistency and performance, Kyle Larson is one of the greatest NASCAR drivers of all time, and it comes as no surprise that he is worth $12 million. That figure might even shoot up if the #5 Chevrolet driver manages to claim his second NASCAR Cup title.

Renowned NASCAR personality and expert Jordan Bianchi recently opened up about Kyle Larson and Hendrick Motorsports' partnership.

Bianchi, in a recent episode of The Teardown, revealed that Cliff Daniels, Larson's Crew chief, played an instrumental part in the latter's successful campaign in 2024.

While explaining how Daniels helped Larson push his limits at Sonoma, Bianchi said:

"He (Cliff Daniels) looked at the situation, assessed it, and said, 'I'm gonna give my driver four fresh tires in a late situation with 20-27 laps to go and he's got an eight-second gap...my guy can do that.' And that's exactly what happened. I think that is why this team is so good."

He added:

"Larson is at his best when he is in attack mode and can just focus forward and just go after it.You are just in attack mode. I think that is the genesis of what makes this team so good."

Larson, with his Sonoma victory, secured his 26th career win. With this, the #5 driver took himself closer to the NASCAR playoffs. The Hendrick Motorsports driver is currently leading the standings with 561 points, ahead of Chase Elliott in 547 points, and Denny Hamlin in 535 points.
