Harrison Burton and his fiancée Jenna Petty revisited the Gapstow Bridge in New York, where the former Wood Brothers Racing driver proposed back in March. Petty said “yes” to her soon-to-be husband, and needless to say, the visit made her quite nostalgic.

An alumnus of High Point University, North Carolina, Petty is a professional dancer. She works as a part-time instructor at Dance Productions- The Remix, based in Harrisburg, North Carolina. Petty, 22, is also the brand ambassador for Jo + Jax Dancewear.

Petty took to her Instagram stories and posted a picture of Burton amid the picturesque backdrop of the Gapstow Bridge. Recalling the day when she became his fiancée, Petty wrote,

“1st time visiting where we got engaged… love that he made such a special place, to me, even more special!”

Burton and Petty have known each other since high school. The couple started dating in 2017 and have plans to get married in October 2025. Per Zola, their official wedding website, the nuptials will be held in Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina.

Burton is currently enjoying his offseason. He spent the last three seasons driving the No. 21 Mustang full-time for Wood Brothers Racing in the Cup Series. Courtesy of his win at Daytona International Speedway in August, he made the playoffs for the first time in 2024. Burton rounded up the season with one top-5 and two top-10s.

He has been tabbed by AM Racing to join their Xfinity lineup for 2025. The 24-year-old Huntersville native was elated to know he would continue his NASCAR journey.

When Burton bagged the 100th win for Wood Brothers Racing at Daytona, he knew that when the season ended, he would have to part ways with his team. His future as a NASCAR driver wasn’t sure at the time and he was looking for options.

But that was how things were until September. On Friday the 20th, AM Racing announced that Burton would drive their No. 15 full-time in 2025.

“I'm excited to join AM Racing and help build it into the race-winning race team I believe it can and will be,” Harrison Burton said (via AM Racing). “I think this will be a great opportunity for me to take the things l've learned in the Cup Series, bring those to the Xfinity Series and be the best driver I can be.”

As per reports, he will hit the tracks starting at Daytona on February 15, 2025. The race will stream live on CW from 5 pm ET onwards with radio updates on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

“It's a blessing to continue my NASCAR journey, and I intend to make the most of this opportunity,” Harrison Burton added.

Burton previously competed in the Xfinity Series driving the No. 20 machine for Joe Gibbs Racing. He qualified for the playoffs on two occasions (2020 & 2021). Burton is also known to have raced in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Kyle Busch Motorsports.
