NASCAR Cup Series driver Denny Hamlin and NBA legend Michael Jordan's co-owned team, 23XI Racing, has announced that its $16 million team headquarters, Airspeed, will be on a holiday break ahead of Christmas. The team has also changed the time of visiting the headquarters.

Hamlin's co-owned team shared an Instagram story to share the updated Airspeed hours. The facility has adjusted its operating hours for a few selected dates, including December 5, 16, and 20. The multimillion-dollar racing facility will operate from 9 AM to 12 PM on the selected dates.

Further, 23XI Racing shared an update regarding the holiday break on its Instagram account and wrote:

23XI Racing's facility is spread across a 114,000-square-foot building near Interstate 77 off Statesville Road in Huntersville. Denny Hamlin began designing his dream innovative facility around three years ago on a sketch pad.

Hamlin found his inspiration for his $16M headquarters from the Mercedes Formula 1 team after watching the Hulu documentary "Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story." In the documentary, the Formula 1 team worked on their cars in open space. The 23XI Racing facility was built in eight months, and 200 workers were on-site daily. The team's driver, Tyler Reddick, appreciated the facilities at their new headquarters.

23XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick praised the impact of their $16M new headquarters, 'Airspeed'

23 XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick was impressed by the new facilities at the new headquarters, 'Airspeed.' They opened the facility in May this year and use it as a team shop to prepare their cars and drivers for the upcoming races.

Tyler Reddick shared his experience at 23XI Racing's new headquarters and said:

"Yes, Airspeed's been great. It's nice to have that new home. I think, for some, it's a little bit closer maybe a little bit further, but um yeah, to have the environment we do now, the location that we have um, and just the facilities we now have."

Headquarters and race shops play a crucial role in building a stock car racing team, and Hamlin is deeply dedicated to making the team work well. Tyler Reddick was 23XI Racing's first driver to enter the Championship Four race since their debut in 2021.

Reddick concluded his season in fourth place in the points standings with three wins, 21 top-ten finishes, and 12 top-five finishes, followed by three poles in 36 starts. He delivered an impressive performance at the Homestead-Miami Speedway before the final race.

The 23 XI Racing driver earned the pole position and won the race, earning 57 points, but unfortunately, he ended his championship race at the Phoenix Raceway on November 10, 2024, in sixth place.
