Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott has landed a multi-year sponsorship from Amazon Prime Video, NASCAR’s newest media partner. Renowned journalist Adam Stern dropped the news through one of his recent posts on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The $2 trillion-worth streaming giant (as per Forbes), will begin its partnership with the 2021 Cup Series champion starting with the regular season race at Talladega Superspeedway on April 27, followed by Kansas Speedway on May 11 and the NASCAR All-Star Race on May 18.

On that note, Stern posted,

“Amazon’s PrimeVideo has decided to sponsor a NASCAR team to help spread the word about its first ever slate of races that it will stream on its platform, signing on with TeamHendrick and ChaseElliott.”

As quoted by Kevin Rutherford of Frontstretch.com, Chase Elliott addressed his upcoming partnership with Amazon Prime, saying,

“It’s great to see Prime Video come into NASCAR and now join us at Hendrick Motorsports and the No. 9 team. They’re leaders in entertainment and technology, and I think that’s a perfect fit on a lot of levels. Seeing a fresh perspective on our sport is cool, and I’m happy to be a part of the effort and have their support.”

Elliott’s deal with Amazon Prime will run through 2027. The Dawsonville native is currently ahead of his ninth season driving full-time for Hendrick Motorsports in the NASCAR Cup Series. He joined the team back in 2016, replacing Jeff Gordon behind the wheel of the No. 24 machine. Today, the No. 24 is driven by William Byron, Elliott’s teammate at Hendrick Motorsports.

Elliott, who is currently in his offseason, will next compete in the season-opening race scheduled to be held on February 2 at Winston-Salem’s Bowman Gray Stadium. Fans can watch him in action on FOX or listen to radio updates on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR from 8 pm ET.

Chase Elliott announces early exit from offseason with upcoming Late Model event

There are still a few weeks left before NASCAR resumes action. However, Chase Elliott is done resting. He is back, better than before, and will compete in the Protect Your Melon - Buckle Up SpeedFest on January 17 and 18 at Cordele Motor Speedway.

Announcing the same through a post on X, the eight-time Most Popular Driver wrote,

“Off season over, excited to be back behind the wheel. Let’s get it!”

Notably, Elliott is already a six-time winner under the Speedfest banner. He emerged victorious in the Super Late Model category in 2011, 2014, and 2015. The Chevy Star also delivered back-to-back wins with a Pro Late Model in 2011, 2012, and 2013.

As reported by Racing America, Elliott will team up with Fr8 Racing in 2025. Last year, he finished 19th in the Super Late Model category due to an accident with 20 laps to go. This year, Elliott will be joined at SpeedFest by fellow Cup Series regular, Ross Chastain.
