$3.2B worth(via Forbes) Michael Jordan co-owns 23XI Racing with active NASCAR Cup Series driver Denny Hamlin. The team was established in late 2020 and made its NASCAR debut in 2021, with Bubba Wallace behind the wheel of the #23 Toyota. 23XI Racing later expanded to two cars, with 2024 regular-season champion Tyler Reddick joining the #45 Camry after Kurt Busch's brief stint with the team.

The UEFA Champions League is considered the highest level of competition in club football. FC Barcelona and AS Manco were scheduled to battle on matchday 1 in France. NBA legend Michael Jordan was witnessed in the stands, watching the match play out. Here is a look at Jordan in Monaco via a post on ESPNFC's Instagram handle, captioned:

"Michael Jordan is in attendance to watch Barcelona vs. Monaco in the Champions League! 🐐"

Micheal Jordan's 23XI Racing was one of two teams that refused to sign the new charter agreement with NASCAR, which will apply in the 2025 season.

A statement from 23XI read that they did not have "an opportunity to fairly bargain for a new charter contract." The other team that held its ground was Front Row Motorsports owned by Bob Jenkins.

NASCAR Insider weighs in on Michael Jordan-owned team's future in NASCAR amid charter controversy

Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin owned 23X Racing recently announced their #23 driver Bubba Wallace's contract extension.

Wallace, who has been with 23XI Racing since its inception, was initially rumored to hold off on signing a contract extension due to uncertainties surrounding the new charter agreement. However, despite the ongoing ambiguity, 23XI Racing officially announced Wallace’s contract extension, solidifying his future with the team.

"From day one Bubba has been an integral part of 23XI. We’re excited to announce that he has signed a multi-year renewal and will continue to play a key role in helping 23XI grow and succeed. #ForwardTogether"

Meanwhile, with both FRM and 23XI rumored to expand their teams while holding off on signing the charter agreement, Fox Sports journalist Bob Pockrass weighed in on the matter and wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) handle:

"Still TBD on 23XI and Front Row charters. If they don't sign, then TBD what NASCAR does with those charters (sell them, hold them to see if they sign, etc). They can field open cars but the payouts (at least under the current deal) less than a third of what charter teams get," Pockrass wrote
