Two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion and Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. recently took to social media and flaunted the various facilities of his company Dirty Mo Media's office. Besides being involved neck-deep in the company's operations, the NASCAR legend, who is worth $300 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, will call NASCAR races for Amazon and TNT.
Dirty Mo Media is an independent entertainment and creative production company that Dale Earnhardt Jr. co-founded with Mike Davis, the current president of Dirty Mo Media. The company hosts several popular shows like Denny Hamlin's 'Actions Detrimental', 'Door Bumper Clear', and the 'Dale Jr. Download', to name a few.
Taking pride in the amenities at the Dirty Mo Media facility, Dale Earnhardt Jr. said,
"The @DirtyMoMedia office has a 14’ sports ticker. Along with 5 tvs under it to watch unlimited sporting events. It’s a glorious place to work (and watch sports)."
For over a decade, Mike Davis served as Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s co-host in the latter's podcast. However, Davis exited the show towards the end of last year to look after the business side.
Following that, the Dirty Mo Media facility has undergone some infrastructural revamps, which include setting up new offices and, of course, the 14-foot sports ticker.
Earlier this year, Dirty Mo Media joined a partnership with SiriusXM NASCAR radio that gives SiriusXM exclusive advertising and distribution rights to Earnhardt Jr.'s company. Besides that, SiriusXM NASCAR radio currently covers two Dale Jr Download episodes every week.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. gets critical on Dirty Mo Media about NASCAR's short-track package
NASCAR has received a fair amount of criticism in light of its short track package, especially in tracks that are a mile in length or less. According to the drivers, maneuverability in the car is the toughest on these tracks. Dale Earnhardt Jr. told veteran journalist Bob Pockrass that the former had addressed the issue in an earlier episode of his podcast.
"I've been very critical of the short track package on my own content, Dirty Mo’ Media, 'The Dale Jr. Download,'" Junior said. "Everybody's got a different opinion, myself included — it’s the car, it's this, it’s that and the other. But I think where we've kind of landed, at least it seems at the moment, is that we can certainly learn a lot by messing with a tire and Goodyear seems to be willing to be a bit aggressive with the tire."
"We didn't get the desired result that we were looking for at the All-Star race at North Wilkesboro. We didn't get that desired result with the different tire combinations. But they did learn from it," he added.
NASCAR is just a few days from making a trip to the Iowa Speedway, which is a short track as well. The track has never hosted a Cup Series race throughout its 18 years of operation. In an interview reported by motorsport.com, NASCAR’s senior vice president of competition, Elton Sawyer addressed the short track issues and said,
"We’re not naive to this. We at NASCAR want our short track package to be better."
The Iowa Corn 350 is scheduled to take place on June 16.
