5 times Danica Patrick ruled the Formula 1 paddock with her fashion statements

Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick, after her full-time retirement from racing, hasn't completely left the world of motorsports as she continues to be the voice of the Sky Sports F1 broadcasting team. One of the most successful women in open-wheel racing has also been the style icon while covering various F1 races in recent times.

For the remaining 2024 F1 season, Patrick is set to cover four more races for Sky Sports F1. She will continue the coverage from the Circuit of The Americas track in Austin, followed by the F1 Grand Prix at Mexico City, Las Vegas, and Abu Dhabi. Donning a white dress paired with black loafers, Patrick was last seen at the F1 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, which witnessed Red Bull driver Max Verstappen celebrating at the podium.

1. 2024 Miami Grand Prix

Danica Patrick was spotted wearing a chic floral dress for the 2024 F1 Miami GP. The race also witnessed McLaren's Lando Norris achieving his maiden win.

"A good time was had by all in Miami! Had a lot of fun seeing the @skysportf1 team again for the first time this year and loved watching @landonorris win his first race….. of many," Patrick wrote on Instagram.

2. 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix

Patrick showed up in an all-black attire topped with a red jacket for her last coverage of the 2023 F1 season in Las Vegas, where Max Verstappen emerged victorious. The 42-year-old Patrick, on her Instagram post, wrote:

"Thursday felt more like a week. We started off with a badass heli trip over the track followed by the longest coldest night ever. Practice 2 was delayed by 2.5 hours and we finished on air at almost 430am. ☠️ thank goodness I brought an extra very warm jacket!"

3. 2023 Mexico City Grand Prix

The 2023 Mexico GP saw Red Bull driver Verstappen securing his 16th win of the season. Patrick, who covered the qualifying race, posted pictures of her adorable outfit on her Instagram handle. She wrote:

"Pretty interesting qualifying today…. Hope it leads to an exciting race tomorrow. 😉 …either way this sky sports team will be having fun! 😁"

4. 2023 United States Grand Prix

Patrick, a native of Wisconsin, wore a neutral color outfit with high boots at the F1 GP in Austin, Texas. The race witnessed Max Verstappen achieving his 50th Formula 1 race win.

"Keep it weird Austin!!!! And fast…. Two races this weekend with a sprint race Saturday and normal race on Sunday! 🏎️ 🏁 ," Patrcik wrote.

5. 2023 Singapore Grand Prix

Scuderia Ferrari's Carlos Sainz became the first non-Red Bull driver to achieve a win in the 2023 season at the 2023 Singapore GP. Meanwhile, former NASCAR driver Patrick covered the F1 qualifying in a stunning red dress and shared a glimpse of the qualifying along with Sky Sports F1 crew.

"We have a lot of fun @skysportsf1!!!! And the on track action is pretty damn good too! Tube into Singapore @f1 tonight or tomorrow or wherever you are! 😜" Patrick wrote on Instagram.

Patrick is the only woman in the history of the IndyCar Series to secure a win. She took the checkered flag at the 2008 Indy Japan 300 race. The former Stewart-Haas Racing driver is also the only woman racer to sit at the pole position on NASCAR's marquee Daytona 500 race in 2013.

Patrick shifted her focus to entrepreneurship after her last racing stint in 2018. She owns a clothing line called Warrior and is the owner of Somnium, a vineyard in Napa Valley, California. Patrick also wrote a book named 'Pretty Intense' after retiring from racing full-time in 2017.
