NASCAR Xfinity Series team owner Kelley Earnhardt recently reminisced on her son Wyatt Miller’s mid-race interview before winning a major sprint event last year.
He won his first Golden Driller trophy at 12 years of age, leading all 20 laps in the junior sprints final. Wyatt, grandson of Dale Earnhardt and nephew of Dale Earnhardt Jr., gave a funny interview during a red flag break in the race.
Kelley shared a video of the incident on her Instagram stories. During the interview, Wyatt said the track was "slick but doable."

Wyatt is a fourth-generation Earnhardt and the son of Kelley and LW Miller. He won the K&B Racing Restricted Micro A-Class feature event last December. When asked about the Tulsa Expo Raceway and what his crew members suggested he should do, Wyatt said:
"Yeah, it’s a little slick, but it’s doable. Um, they’re fighting up there."
"Yeah, they’re telling me to run high, but I don’t know. Maybe I will, maybe I won’t," he added.
Earnhardt's 24-year-old daughter, Karsyn Elledge, has also competed in midget races and won a race at Millbridge Speedway in 2018.
Kelley, worth $50 million (according to Celebrity Net Worth), is the CEO and co-owner of JR Motorsports. Kelley has worked as the vice president of sales and vice president of procurement at Action Performance.
When Kelley Earnhardt's son Wyatt Miller debuted at Dirt City Off-Road National with "two podium finishes"
Kelley Earnhardt's husband, LW Miller, is a three-time Modified champion. Their youngest child, Wyatt, started racing winged Outlaw Karts in 2020 and won two championships in two subsequent years.
Wyatt won 20 races in seven states last year and raced in 600 Micros, Legend cars, and Outlaw Karts in 2024. He also drove the Pro Spec trucks with sponsors Bass Pro Shops and LubeZone at Ryan Beat Motorsports. Wyatt raced in off-road cars for the first time this year, at the Dirt City Off-Road National. He finished second in both August races, driving the No. 73 in the Pro SPEC class.
"Walking out of Dirt City Motorplex with two podium finishes in my Championship Off-Road PRO-SPEC debut. Fought hard for a P2 finish today! Thank you to Ryan Beat Motorsports for this opportunity and for putting together a great truck for me to wheel," he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Wyatt started fifth in the first race but after a caution brought the field closer, he overtook some racers to take second place. Wyatt moved through the pack and passed late in the second race, finishing second again.
