NASCAR veteran Jimmie Johnson has collaborated with Chopt Creative Salad Co. to introduce his favorite Kale Caesar Salad to the menu. The partnership will also support his charitable initiative, the Jimmie Johnson Foundation, which provides essential educational resources to students.
Johnson started his NASCAR career in 1998 with the Xfinity series and has participated across all three NASCAR formats. Throughout his 22-year Cup career, he has celebrated 83 wins across 692 starts besides his seven championships between 2006-2016. Alongside his racing achievements, in 2006, he also established the Foundation with his wife, which aims to assist children, families, and communities in need.
His latest collaboration with the Salad company aims to benefit children through his foundation since the deal is expected to contribute 15% of the dish's sales to his charitable endeavor.
NASCAR Non Stop Instagram posted the update on their official handle captioning it:
"Hey race fans! @choptsalad has partnered with 7X NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson (@jimmiejohnson) to create the limited time “Jimmie Johnson Kale Caesar Salad!” 15% of sales are donated to the Jimmie Johnson Foundation. Available at all Chopt locations! #choptpartner"
Meanwhile, despite retiring from full-time competition in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2020, the driver, renowned for the most consecutive titles, was scheduled to drive in nine races this season, the most since he retired from full-time. He has participated in six races, including the Daytona 500 at Texas Motor Speedway, Dover, Kansas, Charlotte, and the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Johnson is slated to drive his #84 Toyota Camry next at Kansas Speedway on September 29, followed by an appearance in Las Vegas in October, and concluding his season at Phoenix in the year's final race.
