Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick reacted to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump winning the 2024 US election. She posted a picture of herself posing in front of the American flag on social media.

Patrick, a trailblazer for women racers in the US, rose to fame during her debut IndyCar Series season in 2005. She became the first female driver to lead laps and finish in the Top 5 (fourth place) during the Indianapolis 500 race. After winning several accolades in the open-wheel-racing series, Patrick moved to NASCAR in 2013. She holds the record for being the first female racer to qualify in pole position and lead laps during the iconic Daytona 500 race in 2013.

After being in various forms of motorsport for about two decades (in Europe and the US), Patrick retired from full-time racing in 2018. Since then, she has worked as an analyst and pundit for NBC and Sky Sports F1 respectively. Apart from racing, Patrick has been actively involved in politics, campaigning for Republican nominee Trump.

With results favoring the former businessman-turned-politician, the $80-million-worth (per Celebrity Net Worth) racing legend Patrick posted a celebratory message on X (formerly Twitter). She wrote:

"We did it."

Despite being engaged in the election campaign, Patrick also fulfilled her commitment to Sky Sports F1 by being present during the Mexican Grand Prix weekend. The 42-year-old Wisconsin-born former racer shared a few trackside and paddock images on Instagram.

"Awesome race and an awesome group of people to work with @skysportsf1!"

"Where was our Mar-a-lago invite?" - Danica Patrick jokes about being snubbed from Donald Trump's post-election party

Danica Patrick was actively involved in Donald Trump's 'Make America Great Again (MAGA)' campaign. Despite being a part of several rallies, she joked that she did not receive an invitation to Trump's post-election party at Mar-a-Lago.

Patrick shared a selfie of her sitting on the floor alongside blogger Denise Bovee and writer/Instagram influencer Jessica Reed Kraus on X. She wrote:

"Where was our Mar-a-lago invite?"

Apart from prominent members of Trump's family, several celebrities such as Elon Musk (CEO of Tesla and SpaceX), Dana White (CEO of UFC), Caitlyn Jenner (Olympic gold medalist), Siggy Flicker (Israeli-American podcaster and TV personality), and a few others graced the party.

As for Patrick's role as a pundit with Sky Sports F1, she will likely be present during the upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend from November 21st to 23rd.
