Kyle Larson ended the year on a high note as he bagged a $100,000 prize for his win at the High Limit Racing finale at Perth Motorplex. Despite missing out on the 2024 NASCAR championship, the 32-year-old brought home the richest payday in the Australian Sprint Car history.

Kubota High Limit Racing, co-owned by Larson and five-time World of Outlaws champion Brad Sweet, recently ventured to Western Australia for a 410 winged sprint car series for a racing weekend.

On the three-day racing series finale, the Hendrick Motorsports star capitalized on a big win after falling behind James McFadden the previous two nights.

"𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬! @KyleLarsonRacin’s first-ever win on Australian soil comes in the richest race in Australian Speedway history at @PerthMotorplex ! He tops @JamesMcFadden for $100,000!"

Furthermore, with no surprise, the win by the 2021 Cup Series champion Larson was well-received by the racing community on X. The first user wrote:

"No shock, guys a legend in the making."

Followed by another X user's one-word remark for Larson:

"GOAT!!!"

Meanwhile, a third user wrote in the hope of Perth Motorplex being again on the High Limit Racing calendar.

"Terrific racing. Hoping Perth is back on the calendar next year as well," said the X user.

Another ecstatic user said:

"What a race! Facility looked impressive. You can't tell me that @HighLimitRacing isn't great for racing. Larson is a Godsend for racing."

Here are a few more reactions by fans on Kyle Larson's impressive win for the first time in Australia:

"GREAT WAY TO END THE YEAR!!! LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" a user wrote.
"Way to go ! @KyleLarsonRacin," a second user said.

High Limit Racing hosted its first international event in Perth with this three-day race series. While Brad Sweet has spoken about the promotion and advertisement involved, Kyle Larson also shared his plans to help the Sprint car series grow and reach out to more audiences.

Earlier this month, Kyle Larson shared his thoughts on the importance of having a big purse in the competitions. The three-day racing series(Dec 28-30) became the highest-paying sprint car race in Australian history.

In an interview during the Epartrade Race Industry Week segment, the Rick Hendrick driver said:

“It was obviously a big topic when we started our series, to try and just make it healthier for the teams and especially the teams, but the drivers involved also. I think it's important to advertise what we're paying out. We still want to get way better." [6:46 onwards]
"You have to have the money to do it, and crowds play a big part in that. So we try to strive for making our show really entertaining, to get the crowds and all that." he added.
