Amanda Wallace playfully critiques Bubba Wallace's fresh shoe game - "Those look like you"

Bubba Wallace shared a clip wearing special "23XI" shoes as he shared a moment with his team. Amanda Wallace, his wife, also playfully commented on his fashion statement.

The 23XI Racing driver is one of the most playful ones on the grid. Recently, he shared a video on his Instagram story where he was seen spending time with his crew, trying on new shoes. The black boots were highlighted with red wording that read 23XI. Commenting on the boots, Amanda said:

"Those look like you!"

Amanda and Bubba Wallace have been dating since 2015, however, the two have known each other since high school. It wasn't until nine years ago that they met again and got in contact with each other. Wallace invited Amanda to Las Vegas during her spring break, and the two soon started dating.

Talking about when the two met, Amanda once said:

"We were in Spanish class in high school, and we sat near each other. I don't remember first meeting, but he would always try to cheat. We were friends. There was three or four of us that did all of our projects together and he always would try to cheat off my exams because I was much smarter than he was!" she told PEOPLE.

Bubba Wallace proposed to her in June 2021 and got married later on New Year's Eve.

Amanda and Bubba Wallace expecting their first child this year

Early in April, the couple revealed on social media that they were expecting their first child. In a joint post, they wrote:

"Spring has sprung. Summer will be rad. Fall is the first time, we'll be mom and dad!"

The birth of their child is expected later in the Fall of this year, as the post revealed. While they have not revealed the gender yet, Amanda Wallace did post a fun activity clip on her Instagram where she was making choices reflecting the traits of a girl or a boy.

The couple is going through a magical moment in their life as they prepare for the birth of their first child.

Bubba Wallace, too, is going through a competitive phase in his NASCAR career. His first race win came in 2021 before he repeated the triumph in 2022. However, he has not won a race since.

Currently, he is leaning on the edge of the Playoffs for this season. With no race or stage win and only 35 laps led, Wallace is 16th in the standings. Eight different drivers (including his teammate Tyler Reddick) have already won races in the season. So, it is extremely important for him to get a victory to remain close to the possibility of qualifying for the Playoffs.
