“Amy don’t care about none of those”: Dale Earnhardt Jr. navigates the treacherous waters of breaking updates of his passion to his wife

Dale Earnhardt Jr. recently touched upon how he shares the intricate details of his life with his wife, Amy Earnhardt. While explaining this, Dale Jr. also revealed that Mrs. Earnhardt 'doesn't care' about any of those details.

Earnhardt Jr. recently sat with his wife to answer some questions asked by fans. It was a specially released episode, where he changed the name from Ask Jr. to Ask Amy in the Dale Jr Download podcast. As the couple sat for a Q&A session, Earnhardt Jr. touched upon how he anxiously waited to share the smallest of details with Mrs. Earnhardt.

"I almost drag my feet to tell her like man, I got a NCAA college game to knock out with my pilot. He's in the league with me and me and him we are supposed to play. The sooner we get it done, then we can move on and everybody gets to move forward and advance to the next week."

"Amy don't care about none of these details, but I wanna do it, and honest rather not hear the details yeah, and so I just need to tell her like, 'Hey I'd like to I would like to knock this game out, win a good time today, is there anything going on you know?'" (2:50-3:18)

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Amy Reimann started dating in 2009 after the former hired the latter to design one of his homes. The duo got engaged in 2015 and tied the knot one year later on New Year's Eve at the renowned Richard Childress Vineyards situated in Lexington, North Carolina.

Amy Earnhardt revealed what keeps Dale Earnhardt Jr. at home

During the latest Dale Jr Download podcast episode of Ask Amy, Mrs. Earnhardt also touched upon what keeps her husband, Dale Earnhardt Jr. at home. Answering a fan's question, the former revealed that playing video games prevents Dale Jr. from moving out of the house.

Here's what she said:

"I make fun of the video game thing, like it keeps him off the street," Amy Earnhardt said. "So I’m not so mad about it but he does it while I’m sleepy…It keeps him in the home, even before we ever got married and had kids, I was like at least he’s not on the street."

As of 2025, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Amy Earnhardt have been married for nine years and have two children together. Their names are Isla Rose Earnhardt and Nicole Lorraine Earnhardt.
