After Christmas day, Amy Earnhardt, Dale Jr.'s wife, posted an update about her mood on social media. Amy said she turned herself off to give herself time to rest amid the NASCAR off-season holidays.
Amy Reimann-Earnhardt is a 42-year-old interior designer who wed Dale Jr. in late 2016. The two met in 2009 when the former NASCAR driver hired her and her firm to design his home in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
On Instagram, Amy Earnhardt dropped a three-word update about her life after celebrating Christmas.
"Power button off," she wrote.
The update is a response to the post that says:
"Today, I'm going to really give it my nothing."
During Christmas, Amy received a Taylor Swift friendship bracelet from one of her daughters, Isla Rose. Her eldest daughter got the bracelet during Swift's Indianapolis concert where fans would make and share bracelets with others.
"Isla's gift :) T. Swift bracelets from our trip," Amy wrote in an Instagram story.
Amy also shared the recipe for a 'White Christmas Delight' cocktail to celebrate the holiday season. She is a co-owner of High Rock Vodka with her husband, Dale Jr. The couple launched the brand in early 2022 in collaboration with Sugarlands Distilling Company.
In an Instagram post via High Rock Vodka, she narrated:
"White Christmas Delight: one and a half ounces of High Rock Vodka, one ounce of triple sec, half ounce of lime juice, top with white grape juice, add white luster dust (optional), shake, shake, shake. Strain into a glass with frozen water and rosemary."
Hopefully, Amy gets a good rest after pushing her power button off. After all, the family should have another busy schedule in preparation for the New Year celebration.
Amy Earnhardt's husband Dale Jr. shares his Christmas experience this year
Amy Earnhardt's husband, Dale Earnhardt Jr., took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his experience during Christmas. While Junior had a 'good holiday season', he would approach next year differently by slowing down to enjoy the moment better.
After wishing his followers a Merry Christmas, the 26-time Cup race winner said:
"Man it seems this one flew by. The Christmas music on the local radio station won't be playing much longer. I gotta do better next year at slowing this month down at bit."
Dale Earnhardt Jr. celebrated Christmas with his family including his two daughters, Isla Rose and Nicole Lorraine. His daughters enjoyed the holiday season and left cookies for Santa Claus, which Amy shared on social media.
For 2025, Dale Jr. doesn't have plans to go racing in NASCAR, though he is open to getting behind the wheel again the following year. The Kannapolis native concluded the year with one entry in the Xfinity Series where he finished seventh in the No. 88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet at Bristol Motor Speedway.
