Dale Earnhardt Jr. has revealed the secret that he follows to cure a hangover. While it isn't something that the former NASCAR driver uses daily, he confirmed that he has multiple options as such, thanks to his wife, Amy Earnhardt.
In the Dirty Mo Media podcast's latest episode by Dale Earnhardt Jr., the NASCAR Hall of Famer unearthed the intricate details that he follows to tackle a hangover after a fan asked him about it. From specially made peels to cheeseburgers and soda, Earnhardt Jr. confirmed that he has everything at his disposal.
"Man, Amy's got these cheers peels," Earnhardt Jr. revealed. "They're kind of like these vitamins and stuff. She is always good at like having something that she's discovered, and she'll, you know, take you this before you go to sleep or get up in the morning. You take this and you'll feel better."
While the NASCAR veteran has the option to use the natural way to cure his hangover, it does not seem to be his go-to method. He prefers junk food instead. Speaking about his way of beating it, he stated,
"For me, it's like eating a cheeseburger you know. Eating something real greasy. Drinking a soda. If you're really bad, you know, you're gonna drink a little soda or something, going back to sleep is a good one and diving right back in [into drinking again.]"
Dale Earnhardt has spoken about his love for alcohol in the past. So much so that he once credited this substance behind his improvement in performance during his NASCAR days. In one of his interviews, he stated that drinking and smoking made him a better race car driver!
Dale Earnhardt Jr. and company's drinking mastery once earned them Irish respect
Dale Earnhardt Jr. and company recently discussed how they hopped bar after bar during their last vacation in Ireland. After a couple of switches, they ended up in a particular bar, where they had their lunch and dinner, along with drinks aplenty.
Earnhardt Jr. was accompanied by his musician friend, Tim Dugger, who revealed their mighty drinking prowess. Speaking about this, Dugger stated in Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s Dirty Mo Media podcast's latest episode,
"What I was impressed with is we had sat there for seven hours, six-seven hours, and so when we closed out, the bartender is like, 'I'm really impressed.' He's like, 'I'm surprised y'all can stand.' I feel like if the Irish compliment your drinking, you've done good."
While alcoholism itself is not something to be proud of or considered a positive statistic, praise for it from the Irishmen can be a big deal for anybody, including Earnhardt Jr. and company.
