Stewart Haas Racing showcased the special paint scheme for Josh Berry's #4 Ford Mustang Dark race car on social media. The unique design, featuring Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, has garnered a lot of positive responses from fans.

SHR's decision to shut shop at the end of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season has resulted in a cloud of uncertainty about its drivers. With limited options and an overall dull performance this year, rumors of Josh Berry not making it to the 2025 Cup series have begun circulating. Despite the odds, SHR and Berry are focused on maximizing the results in the remaining races of the season.

Now, ahead of the Brickyard 400 race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 21st, 2024, Stewart Haas Racing has revealed a one-off paint work for Berry's car, featuring professional basketball player Caitlin Clark on the hood with the tagline 'Raining 3s' in the background. For reference, 'Raining 3s' means consistently making long-distance three-point shots in a game.

Here's a look at the X post by SHR, captioned:

"Raining 3s with the No. 4 @joshberry will race at Indianapolis with @PaniniAmerica and Indiana Fever star @CaitlinClark22."

Since then, the post has garnered interesting feedback from fans.

"Angel Reese is already seething" read a sarcastic comment from a fan.

On the other hand, a few enthusiastic fans enquired about when a diecast version would be available.

"Oh, oh, gonna need a diecast of this ride!" wrote a fan.
"Loving this CC Racer. Please announce when Diecast is ready for sales." enquired another one.

A brief look at Josh Berry's 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season with Stewart Haas Racing so far

The 2024 Cup Series season has not been going in favor of NASCAR's upcoming star Josh Berry. The Tennessee-based racer began his first full-time Cup Series season with Stewart Haas Racing this year.

In the 21 races so far, Berry has struggled to showcase his best performance. The 34-year-old driver has managed four Top 10s and two Top 5 finishes and has DNFed five times in the regular season.

Amassing a total of just 386 points, he stands in the 21st position in the driver's table, 317 points behind the leader Chase Elliott. Another blow to the #4 driver was SHR's decision to cease operations at the end of the 2024 season, rendering Berry without a ride next year.

Despite the odds, Josh Berry has maintained a positive outlook for his 2025 season.

“I feel good about having a spot in the Cup Series next year, I think our results have been really strong the last couple months,” Berry said during the pre-race media interaction at the Nashville Superspeedway (Ally 400 race weekend).
