Anthony Alfredo shared an optimistic New Year post ahead of the 2025 season, mentioning that he was grateful for the opportunities that came across him. He raced for Our Motorsports in 2024 but was replaced and currently has no seat for the upcoming season.

Alfredo mentioned that he is focused on 2025 and the opportunities that the year might bring.

"I can’t believe this year is already coming to a close. There’s been many blessings, memories, and experiences that I’m grateful for. It’s been great reflecting on them the past few weeks, but it’s time to put a bow on 2024 and focus on accomplishing even more in 2025 🎊 #NewYearsEve #HappyNewYear."

Alfredo debuted in the Xfinity Series back in 2020 with Richard Childress Racing. He took part in a couple of races and moved to the Cup Series in the 2021 season. However, he was then replaced by Todd Gilliland, following which he moved back to Xfinity. He was with Our Motorsports in 2022 and BJ McLeod Motorsports signed him for the following season, but did not extend his contract. He returned to Our Motorsports for 2024. However, his contract wasn't extended once more and he is left with no ride for 2025.

His final race of the 2024 season in the Xfinity Series did not end well either as he had a major crash. NASCAR penalized him.

Anthony Alfredo reviewed his penalties at Phoenix

During the final stage of the season-ending race at Phoenix, Anthony Alfredo made contact with Stefan Parsons and he was sent into the wall, ending his race early. His actions saw him getting a two-lap penalty mid-race. The incident was then reviewed after the race as well, subsequently, NASCAR fined him $25,000 and docked 25 driver points for violating NASCAR's Member Code of Conduct.

He accepted the penalty, mentioning that it was a rule regardless of the actions being intentional or non-intentional.

"No, I obviously didn’t mean for that to happen, and I’m really glad he didn’t hit harder, as it could have been much worse at that angle in the dogleg... Unfortunately, I got into his right rear, it wasn’t intentional... I’ll take the penalty because NASCAR has made a rule about that—whether it's intentional or not, you can’t hit a guy’s right rear. I have two months to figure out how I could have prevented that. I respect NASCAR for being straightforward and sticking with the rule," Anthony Alfredo said via Frontstretch (at 0:25).

Anthony Alfredo's 2024 season ended with seven top-10 finishes. His best result came down in Talladega where he managed to put his #5 Chevrolet in third place.
